CANTON -- Fantasy football takes what's happening on the field and puts it at your fingertips, but winning takes lots of research and time.
That's where two Northeast Ohio brothers saw the possible and decided to share their expertise. With more than 33 million Americans logging on and making their picks this football season, every week is a new start to build the perfect team.
"Every week people are going to these websites to try to figure out Who should I start? This guy or this guy?" said Michael Tozzi. He and his brother, Kent State senior Jordan Tozzi, founded LegionReport.com.
The website often has the right answer to that question and any others fantasy owners can come up with.
"We're involved in it anyway. We're watching a lot of football, so we thought why not?" said Michael.
"It's kind of like a big hub where all our friends were supposed to go to...then, it just kind of blew up from there," said Jordan.
The Fantasy Sports Trade Association says most people spend about 10 hours a week on their team, much of it on sites like Legion Report, making gametime decisions about who should be starting and who's benched.
Legion Report, in only its season football season, has been ranked as one of the most accurate experts in the nation.
In a fantasy industry that's tops a billion dollars each year, Legion Report is growing like gangbusters – seeing more than 20,000 hits each month from all over the world.
"Since this football season, it's really exploded as far as advertisers contacting us," said Michael. "Traffic, it's really grown."
"We put a lot of time, lot of work, and seeing it pay off, feels pretty good," said Jordan.
