KENT -- For a group of Kent State students, the Olympics take on a special meaning.
For them, Russia is home and these winter games are a chance to showcase their nation to the world.
Some of the sounds that you hear on the campus of Kent State University are also heard over 5,500 miles away in Sochi Russia
The campus of the Golden Flashes hosts over 2,500 International students and over 30 of them speak Russian.
Irina and Kirill are two of those students from Russia -- one growing up closer to Moscow and one growing up near Sochi where the eyes of the world are focused.
