HURON TOWNSHIP -- Investigators are now trying to piece together what happened after two badly decomposed bodies were discovered in a Beachwood Villas condo.

A postal worker tipped off the homeowners association and authorities after noticing mail piling up outside the home.

Chief Deputy Jared Oliver with the Erie County Sheriff's office says they're still working to positively ID the victims but there's a strong possibility the remains are the residents of the home. Oliver also stated there are no signs of foul play at this point, but anything is possible.

Investigators say one body was found upstairs and another downstairs. There were no signs of forced entry and both bodies appear to have been decomposing for several weeks.

The coroner along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now both assisting with the investigation.
