Celebrating its 116th anniversary, The Feast of the Assumption in Little Italy near University Circle is a Cleveland tradition.V

During the four days of festivities, booths are set up in the Holy Rosary Churchyard featuring Italian foods, live music, and rides for young children. Independent vendors also have booths on the street.

HOURS: Thursday, August 14 – 6 pm to 11 pm; Friday, August 15 – noon to Midnight (Solemn Mass at 10 am/Procession following Mass); Saturday, August 16 – noon to Midnight; and Sunday, August 17 – noon to 11 pm.

Fireworks are at 10 p.m. Sunday night at Tony Brush Park.

Mayfield Road will be CLOSED to vehicular traffic during the Feast hours, beginning approximately one hour prior to the start times listed above. It will be opened about one hour after the Feast closes each night.

Let someone else do the driving. It's a short walk from RTA's HealthLine and Red Line to Little Italy.

TRAVEL : Find RTA Routes

The CircleLink shuttle bus is a great way to get around University Circle and up to the Feast, free of charge.

It will run from 6:15 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and from Noon-5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

FREE SHUTTLE: CircleLink

Special Event Parking is available in many areas.

If you are traveling up Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr., take Jeptha Road. into University Circle. Turn left on Wade Oval Drive., turn right on East Boulevard, and make a left onto Ford Road. Special Event Parking is available at the public parking garage located on Ford Road., just north of Euclid Avenue.

Additional parking is available in the surface lots surrounding Uptown, in the parking lot on E. 117th St. near Mayfield Road., and at the corner of Euclid Avenue and E. 117th St.
