COSHOCTON, Ohio -- The owner of a central Ohio grain company says at least one person suffered minor burns in a grain bin explosion.
The blast was reported Wednesday afternoon in Coshocton, roughly 60 miles northeast of Columbus.
Sgt. Charlie George of the county sheriff's office tells the Coshocton Tribune (http://ohne.ws/VkB4VG ) that grain dust in the bin apparently triggered the explosion.
Coshocton Grain Owner Larry Endsley says seven people were inside the bin at the time, and one or two were hurt.
The back and top of the grain bins were blown out, and a nearby building was damaged.
The bins hold several million bushels of grain.
