SOLON -- Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, a 35-year-old complainant came to the police station to report a theft that occurred at 6230 Cochran Road, his place of employment.

According to the complainant, a co-worker, Rachel Peace, 30, of Aurora, took his car keys from his desk, went to the parking lot and took approximately twenty 5 mg Oxycodone pills from his vehicle without his permission.

The complainant learned of the incident when several other co-workers told him what they had witnessed.

Surveillance video confirmed that Peace took the keys and entered the complainant's vehicle.

The reporting officer responded to the business and confronted Peace about the incident.

Peace eventually admitted that she was in the complainant's vehicle but denied taking the pills. Peace was placed under arrest and charged with vehicle trespass and felony theft.
