STARK COUNTY -- More than 6,100 people are without power in Stark County.

AEP Ohio officials say the power went out around 7:33 p.m.

Two substations are impacted -- one serving the northeast portion of Canton, the other for south of Canton.

Officials say there is a problem with the transmission lines into the station.

Crews are on scene, but as of 9 p.m. AEP Ohio officials could not provide an estimation on when power may be restored.
