Officials say a man in a Dodge truck was in line to go up for auction when the accelerator got stuck
COVENTRY TOWNSHIP -- Three people were struck Tuesday at the Akron Auto Auction after a problem with a truck's accelerator.
According to Coventry Township Fire Capt. Adam Rockich, a man in a Dodge truck was in line to go up for auction when the accelerator got stuck.
Three people were struck.
The driver of the pickup truck was treated at the scene.
Two of the people who were struck went to Akron City Hospital, and the other to Akron General Medical Center. All injuries were minor, Rockich said.
The Akron and New Franklin fire departments both sent medics to assist.
