AKRON -- An Akron woman and her grandson were held at gunpoint while three males ransacked their house early Wednesday, according to police.

About 1:30 a.m. the woman, a resident of the 1400 block of Crestview Avenue, was awoken by someone turning on her bedroom light.

The male then told her to put a pillow over her face, and, within minutes, another male entered her bedroom with her 6-year-old grandson.

The boy was told to get into the bed next to his grandmother, and the pair were held at gunpoint while the two other males ransacked the house.

The males took the woman's cell phone, laptop and kees before fleeing.

Neither the woman nor her grandson was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron police.
