The game itself wasn't too exciting, but the Super Bowl didn't disappoint in other areas. Here's a list of our favorite moments:

1.Joe Namath's attire: The former New York Jets quarterback wore a mink coat during the Super Bowl XLVIII coin toss. Namath flipped the coin too early but we forgive him.

2. Seinfeld reunion of sorts: Who doesn't want the Seinfeld band back together?

Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza and Newman the mailman reunite in a "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" clip that aired during the Super Bowl. VPC

The "secret" project was revealed during the Super Bowl, and it's an episode of his Web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, in which Seinfeld reunites with George (Jason Alexander) and Newman (Wayne Knight).

COCA-COLA AD: Can you believe this reaction?

3. Hillary Rodham Clinton throws a jab, jokingly: The former secretary of State sent out a humorous tweet about Fox, saying it's much more fun to watch "when it's someone else being blitzed & sacked!"

4. A puppy and his horse friend #bestbuds: The precious Budweiser puppy commercial won USA TODAY's 2014 Ad Meter. Never mind that it aired with just 2 minutes left in the game.

This puppy just couldn't lose. Budweiser's precious puppy has pranced off with the best-of-breed ribbon for Super Bowl commercials. VPC

SHOW: Did the Super Bowl make a superstar out of Bruno Mars?

5. Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers at the half: Sure, Bruno Mars led the Super Bowl halftime show with a great performance, but the Chili Peppers didn't disappoint either.

Mars finished the set with a flurry of fireworks. The performance generated 2.2 million tweets.

History suggests that Mars will see song sales jump after his appearance at the big game.
