House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is out of the congressional race after a shocking upset Tuesday in the GOP primary.

Now the battle for Virginia's 7th District seat is a fight between two professors from the same, small liberal arts institution: Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va.

So what do their students think of Democrat Jack Trammell and Republican David Brat? Here's a breakdown according to website Rate My Professors:

Brat, an economics professor, scored 3.4 overall at ratemyprofessors.com with an average A grade based on 24 reviews.

On the hotness scale, he received a red chili pepper. (The highest level of hotness is a chili pepper on fire.)

One user in 2014 said, "Made it very clear — a common sense approach." That sounds like a good campaign approach.

"He's so charming and really knows how to incorporate real world examples to keep the class exciting," another user commented in 2010. "Plus he's total eye candy!!"

Trammell, sociology professor, scored 4.3 in overall quality, albeit from a smaller audience. He received six ratings with an average A grade.

One user called Trammell "brilliant" while another said he's "unclear, rambles."

He, too, received a red chili pepper, which means he is hot, according to students. (The Hotness rating is not included in the overall quality rating.)
