Seventies heartthrob David Cassidy was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on Friday.
LOS ANGELES, California -- Seventies teen idol David Cassidy was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Southern California on Friday.
Cassidy, 63, was pulled over by California Highway Patrol after making an illegal right turn on a red light near Los Angeles International Airport.
He was arrested when the officer smelled alcohol in Cassidy's rental car.
In 2011, Cassidy was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Florida, and was pulled over for suspicion of drunk driving in New York last year.
Cassidy is best know as a recording star and as the teenage son in the TV sitcom "The Partridge Family," which ran from from 1970-74.
Cassidy was released Saturday morning on $15,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 5.
Cassidy has not publicly commented.
