CUYAHOGA COUNTY—Cuyahoga County voters were facing a levy heavy ballot.

Issue 1 at the top of the ballot was a combination replacement and increase in a Human Services Levy that funds programs supporting, seniors, at-risk children and those with acute medical needs.

The proposed levy would cost the owner of a $200,000 home $272 per year. Now that figure is $180 per year.

Results show the levy passed by a margin of 55% to 45%.

Results: November 2013 Election

Cuyahoga County health and human service agencies are facing $15 million in Federal and State cuts that is pushing the issue on the ballot a year sooner than normal.

County voters have rejected a Health and Human Services Levy just once in recent history.
