A troubling execution has renewed the death penalty debate in Ohio.

Convicted murderer Dennis McGuire was pronounced dead 25 minutes after being injected with an untested mixture of drugs.

Witnesses described him snorting, struggling and gasping for air. How much pain did he feel? Was it the "torture" his family members claim?

Some are calling on Governor John Kasich to declare a moratorium on future executions until a thorough study of McGuire's execution is complete. The next scheduled Ohio execution is March 19.
