The sheriffs of Lorain, Medina, and Summit counties have canceled snow emergency declarations for their respective counties.

The snow emergencies were implemented on Thursday due to hazardous road conditions. Drivers were asked to curtail any unnecessary travel.

The snow emergencies were lifted after snowfall and gusting winds abated allowing road crews to get out and remove snow and ice from the roads.
