LAKE COUNTY -- The left lane of Interstate 90 eastbound will be closed between state Route 44 and Vrooman Road today and tomorrow while crews work to remove a concrete barrier wall.
They've had 6 crashes along that stretch of road over the last several weeks, including a 28 car pile up on Christmas Eve.
The latest occurred when 3 tractor trailers collided with a pick up truck earlier this week.
The shutdown will run from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday's from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work to remove the barrier wall will take seven to 10 days. Additional information about lane closures will be released as it becomes available, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
