GARFIELD HEIGHTS -- Weather permitting; ODOT crews will close the West 25th Street bridge over I-71 from 6 p.m. TONIGHT (Thursday June 12) until 6:30 a.m. Friday, June 13 to complete a bridge deck pour.

Emergency vehicles will be able to travel across the West 25th Street bridge.

Detours for drivers are as follows:

  • I-71 northbound to West 25th Street northbound will be detoured via I-71 northbound to West 14th Street to I-71 southbound to West 25th Street northbound
  • I-71 southbound to West 25th Street southbound will be detoured via the West 25th Street exit ramp to access Fulton Road to the I-71 northbound entrance ramp to access West 25th Street southbound
  • West 25th Street southbound motorists detour via the I-71 southbound exit ramp to access Fulton Road to the I-71 northbound entrance ramp to access West 25th Street southbound
  • West 25th Street northbound motorists detour via I-71 northbound to West 14th Street to I-71 southbound to West 25th Street northbound.

The southbound West 25th Street entrance ramp to I-71 northbound and West 25th Street northbound access to Scranton Road remains closed through spring 2014. The entire project replaces the West 25th Street bridge over I-71 in the city of Cleveland.
