BRECKENRIDGE, CO -- Snowboarder Shaun White explains what it took to get to the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in a new documentary airing on Channel 3 Saturday night. (Jan. 25)

White is on a journey to win his third gold medal at the Olympics in the Men's Snowboarding Halfpipe event.

The documentary, "Shaun White: Russia Calling" takes you behind the scenes with White with an up-close look at his accomplishments, his frustrations and even his failures. But through it all you see his will to win.

Shaun White has been snowboarding since he was six-years-old. He's also the first athlete to win a gold medal at the Summer and Winter X Games.

White says he has many tricks in his back pocket including the double-cork 1440. He says that trick has been winning him competitions. He explains, "it's not something that's only challenging, it's dangerous and it's fulfilling when you land something like this."

The documentary "Shaun White: Russia Calling" will air Saturday night on Channel 3 at 8 p.m.
