The 11th week of the 2013 Ohio high school football season and first weekend of playoff action is in the books!

For many area senior players, tonight marked the last time they'll step on the gridiron and participate in a full-contact contest..

Tonight's slate of games was filled with regional quarterfinal playoff matchups. In one such affair where more than pride was on the line, Stow-Munore Falls edged Elyria 16-15.

There were also a lot of blowouts around Northeast Ohio, including St. Edward defeating Shaker Heights 49-0, Mentor shutting out Brunswick 42-0 and Hudson topping Toledo Whitmer 31-7.
