BEREA -- The Browns say Jason Campbell will start at quarterback against the Patriots this Sunday in New England.

Head Coach Rob Chudzinski announced the move after practice Friday. Campbell has been sidelined since sustaining a concussion during the Steelers game on November 24. He was replaced by Brandon Weeden who suffered a concussion during the Jaguars game last week.

Campbell received permission to practice on Thursday and was cleared to play by an independent neurologist.

Due to the ongoing injuries at the quarterback position, the Browns have picked up Alex Tanney and Caleb Hanie.
