CLEVELAND -- Free agent quarterback Vince Young will take a physical with the Browns today and work out with the team this week, according to reports confirmed by team General Manager Ray Farmer.
Young, 30, was the number three overall draft pick and Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2006 with the Tennessee Titans.
He hasn't played a regular season snap since 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles. Since then, he has also had short-lived stints with the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers.
Farmer also confirmed that free agent quarterback Tyler Thigpen will also visit with the team this week. Thigpen, 30, saw his most extensive playing time in 2008 starting 11 games for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mostly a backup, he has thrown 21 touchdowns and 18 interceptions with a 72.5 passer rating in 6 seasons as a pro.
Thigpen hasn't taken a regular season snap since 2012.
Brian Hoyer and Alex Tanney remain the only quarterbacks currently on the Browns' roster.
