Is Apple ready to boost the screen size on its popular iPhone?
Reuters reports Apple suppliers will start producing displays for the next iPhone in May. Citing "supply chain sources," Reuters says a 4.7-inch screen will be created first followed by a 5.5-inch display.
Apple did not comment on the report.
With the launch of the iPhone 5 in 2012, Apple bumped up the display size on its smartphone from 3.5 inches to 4 inches. However, it's smaller than many rival smartphones from competitors including Samsung, LG and HTC, most of which feature 5-inch displays and larger.
