Air quality advisory issued for Northeast Ohio: Unhealthy conditions expected

As temperatures flirt with 90 degrees Wednesday, officials have triggered an air quality advisory for Northeast Ohio.

This means air quality levels will be unhealthy for sensitive groups. This includes people with lung disease like asthma, older adults, children and others who are active outdoors.

It’s urged to limit outdoor exertion with more breaks.

Officials are also encouraging people to reduce pollution in the area by carpooling and cutting back on using gas-powered lawn equipment.

Digital billboards throughout the area have warnings displayed about the air quality advisory.
