LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - Severe storms cause major damage to a hotel near the airport in Louisville Thursday evening.
Strong winds took part of the roof off at the Crown Plaza Hotel near Louisville International Airport which sent guests into the hotel parking lot.
Many found their cars covered with debris, but no injuries were reported.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say a thunderstorm with winds in excess of 60 miles an hour passed through the area near Highgrove.
