Weather across the nation on April 12, 2017

A majority of the eastern third of the country will contend with a few weather-related disruptions tomorrow.

The main exceptions will be parts of the Carolinas, South Florida and the lower Great Lakes region where spotty showers could dampen the day.

The Northeast can expect sunny and pleasant conditions, with warmth prevailing across the Gulf Coast states. Stormy weather is expected to focus once again on the central Plains.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are in store from Texas to Kansas and Missouri. A storm will continue to push inland across the West.

Rain will dampen Washington to central California, with a few rumbles of thunder possible farther inland. Snow will bury the Cascades and Sierra Nevada, as the Southwest stays dry and very warm.
