Weather across the nation on June 5, 2017

A drearily wet and cool day is expected across the Northeast tomorrow, with temperatures struggling to exceed the mid-50s in Boston under thick cloud cover.

While similarly stormy weather will plague the South for another day, a cold front dropping through the Midwest will allow refreshingly dry air to spill as far south as the Tennessee Valley.

Another cold front pushing into the Plains will spark spotty afternoon thunderstorms from New Mexico to North Dakota, as well. Dry, hot weather is expected to continue in the West, with afternoon temperatures exceeding 100 in Phoenix and Las Vegas.
