Weather across the nation on June 8, 2017

Tomorrow will be a calm and pleasant late spring day for much of the eastern U.S., with only a few lingering showers keeping temperatures down in northern New England.

Seasonable humidity will allow a few afternoon storms to develop across the Florida Peninsula and throughout central Texas.

A weak front draped across the northern U.S. will promote a few showers in the northern Plains and parts of the Midwest as well.

Otherwise, the Central states can expect dry and seasonably warm weather. Another day of strong southerly flow will make for a hot end to the week in the lee of the Rockies, while a storm ushers windy, cooler weather into the West.

Rainy conditions are expected in the Northwest as a result.
