Wind gusts could hit 50 mph: Weather advisory warns of possible power outages

Get ready for windy day.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory Tuesday for all of Northeast Ohio from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The strongest gusts, which forecasters say could reach 50 mph, are expected this afternoon.

“Scattered trees and limbs may be brought down with isolated power outages,” the National Weather Service says.

A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds range between 31-39 mph and when gusts hit 46-57 mph.

Temperatures, meanwhile, will be much cooler with highs in the 50s for the next week
