In The OC....
And a quick note finishing our West Coast swing...We moved on down the road to Orange County and visited the home of the Los Angeles Angels. You cant miss the big 'A' if you are touring down the freeway here. So here is a quick view of our compound and truck located outside the ballpark. We are out in left field just beyond the bullpens. For this series, we were working with our friends from Cross Creek and their high definition truck. In all these remote facilities, you will find an audio area, general production are, replay area, and video control.

Here is a view into the main control room - and the location of the truck outside the stadium. We are usually parked next to the home team's broadcaster whomever that may be. In this case the games were being broadcast on Fox Sports Net in the greater Los Angeles area.

The long underground hallway eventually leads to elevators to the press room......
And video control......

The engineers you will see along the way here are extremely competent and always helpful. Their work is never done on a broadcast day but here Brent and Kurt our engineers for the day, enjoy a quieter moment.

A shot of the switcher here where all the sources are selected that appear on the screen....
And a view into the booth area.....

Wouldn't it be nice to have all these monitors

And a view into the replay area..... Mike and his gang working on elements to be aired during the game as well as setting up replay assignments.

too many choices!
Next road trip - Minnesota and Kansas City....
