I'm glad the Cavs are done!
The NBA Eastern Conference Finals were an exciting stomach-churning, heart-stopping headache!I can't remember ever letting a game affect me in such a way.
I was wrecked with worry as to how LeBron and the Cavs could beat Orlando's 3-point specialists. How and who could stop Dwight Howard? I found my answer Saturday night...no one!
We had a great run...it was fun to watch them win during the regular season and into the playoffs.
But, I'm glad all of the stress is over and we will hopefully put together a team that can match up with teams like the Magic.
Which brings me to my question: What type of player would you add to the Cavs roster? I think we need a big man, who can shoot and defend? Who would you like to see the Cavs go after to help LeBron?

Since Lebron is going to be a free agent after 2010, I think the CAVS should pick up Stoudemeier from the Phoenix Suns! He is big, mobile and can cut to the basketball...a quick big guy!
Koran Butler out of Washington is also good.
This is all coming from my husband, because I really have no idea.
I too am happy the heartache is over and can't wait for next season to start.
Denise,
I was getting ready to say "You go Girl!"... what great picks!
I hear Stoudemeier is a head-case?
First I would like to say, the Cavs had a great year! Although the end was heart-breaking, the ride was fun! As far what pieces are needed, two stand out to me. 1 is a young, strong and atheletic center, 2nd a true back up point guard. We don't need other all-stars, great role players will be just fine(they become all-stars), ie Pistons of '06. Not too many teams matched up well against the Orlando this year, including Boston or LA. On paper I do like Stoudemeier, but maturity might be an issue. The Yao Ming rumor sounds interesting!
Hi Dave,
I heard about the Yao rumor.
I'm gonna do some digging.
I love Z so much...but he just couldn't handle Howard at all...as if anyone could.
Romona,
Needless to say, I'm excited about the future of our Cavs! Their in a much better position to improve than most teams out there! LeBron's not going ANYWHERE and Dan Gilbert is willing to spend the money needed to improve!
I sure hop you're right Dave!
