The Day's Storm Reports:
1:40 p.m. Video from Chopper 3 shows the Berea Fairgrounds submerged. The opening of the Cuyahoga County fair moved back from noon until 5 p.m. Tuesday.
12:41: Chopper 3 video show gridlocked back up stretching for miles at I-480 and Brook Park Road.
12:00 p.m. Cars submerged on I-480 East at the Brook Park Road ramp. I-480 is closed between Brook Park Road and State Road. Traffic is backed up for miles
12:00 p.m. ODOT reports that I-77 in both directions between I-480 and I-490 has reopened.
11:10 a.m. First Energy reports that 20,000 people are without power throughout Greater Cleveland area.
10:55 a.m. Reports of apartments being evacuated in Parma. Flooding reported at Brookpark and Big Creek Parkway.
10:45 a.m. Weather delays opening of Cuyahoga County fair; pushed back from noon until 5 p.m.
10:30 a.m. Reports of possible pavement buckling and washed away on Shore Way, Lakeside Avenue and Dead Man's Curve
10:26 a.m. Rescue underway in Independence after reports that a vehicle was struck by lightning trapping the driver inside.
10 a.m. Water rescue underway at MLK Boulevard and Superior Avenue. Police and fire trying to help multiple cars stranded in at least four feet of water.
9:15 a.m. Various flooding reports across the area including:
Hamlet Avenue near Broadway
Columbia in Westlake near medical center complex
South Shore in Vermilion flooded
East 40th & Payne motorist stuck on roof of car trapped by water
1400 block of Ridgeview is flooded
West 150th street underpass flooded by the National City Center
West 117th past Lorain avenue flooded
