News: Cleveland breaks record high temperature

CLEVELAND -- Another day of hot temperatures in the Cleveland area is one for the records books.

The official high at Hopkins International Airport so far today is 93 degrees which occured at 3:57 p.m. this afternoon.

This breaks the old record of 92 degrees set back in 1914.

News: Cleveland Ties a Record High Temperature

The unusually warm weather has helped us tie a record Monday afternoon.

At 3:10 p.m. Monday afternoon, we tied a record high temperature of 88 degrees at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. The old record was set in 1939.

Both Mansfield and Youngstown broke their old records.

Mansfield reached 86 breaking the record of 78 set in 1973.

Youngstown reached 87 breaking their old record of 84 set back in 1949.

Big changes are on the way during the next several day as seasonal temperatures return with a chance of showers.
