Name that spider
At Channel 3 News, we had the same reaction many of our viewers did when we saw the story of a giant spider who invaded a Tallmadge family's porch.
But, after talking with the family -- we were struck by the fact that they are trying to name the huge (well, big for northeast Ohio) spider.
What would you name the spider?

Name the spider "Peter Parker".
oh my!! I wouldn't have had a chance to call the newspaper or news channel, that sucker would have been squashed!!!!!!!!!
That is a cool looking spider, as long as it stays in Tallmadge. I would name him Boris.
I would name her "Chiquita" since it is a banana spider :)
I think you should name her/him Big Bertha.Laura was right though,it wouldn't have made it this far.Spiders give me the chills,but at least you know it won't hurt you.

I would name it "Squashed" that's exactly what I would do to it if I found it on my porch

What a great spider. They need to make sure it doesn't freeze when the weather gets cold. I would name it "Buttercup".

Yay Tallmadge, thats where I live. I say, Lemon Butt. Not quite as fierce as it should be, but good to make a spider sound cute.

And I agree that saving the spider from the cold is a good idea - it's not the spiders fault it was brought back to this climate - they were the visitors...
