We are a house divided and have the flag on the front door to provie it.
While neither of us went to the respective schools, I am a huge OSUE fan, and my husband is a huge Michigan fan. He is from Northwest Ohio and claims everyone in the Toledo area are Michigan fans. I think Toledo and the surrounding area should be given to Michigan. How can you live in Ohio and not cheer on the Buckeyes? The trash talking in our house has already begun and my husband is wearing his Michigan outfits any chance he can.
I have a sister and brother who are graduates of OSU so my husband has no place to hide. Go Bucks!
When my son was in high school and being recruited to play football at OSU, we were invited to a OSU/Michigan game...the recruits and parents were escorted to our seats, which were on the 50 yard line, through the tunnel - we came out with the team...looking up and around and seeing over 100,000 people in one place and the sound of the cheers - I still get "goosebumps". He went on to play at a rival Big Ten college and so I had the opportunity to be back in the "Shoe" on two more occasions during his college career. He has since graduated and played on the next level for a timepeiod. There is nothing like college football, and since I have experienced both levels - college is my favorite!
Could care less. It's just another game I won't watch.
Just watch the game on channel 5,
why go out anywhere.
