Who should Ohio State play for the National Championship?
Give us your take on who the Buckeyes should meet this January in Arizona.
There are still games to be played, and scenarios to be played out before the BCS announces who Jim Tressel's team will play--but if you had to pick today, who would it be, and why?

They should have a rematch against Michigan, just so they can beat them twice in one year!!!! GO BUCKS!!!
They should have a rematch to determine if Lloyd Carr should be fired or not... National Championship, he gets an extension otherwise, he must go. Go Blue!!!
Anybody but Michigan if there's any credibility left in the BCS (if there was any to begin with, that is). Not that I think it would happen, but what if Michigan would win in the rematch? Who's the national champion then?
Why should Michigan get the crown just because they won second? Seems as though it's harder to win when you don't know what's coming. And if Michigan can lose and not drop, why shouldn't Ohio State be afforded the same luxury?
I thought beating a team actually meant something. If the two teams play again, I guess I would be proven wrong.
Of course if they do play again and Ohio State wins, it could give this year's Buckeyes bragging rights that most likely could never be duplicated.
GO BUCKS!

We've beat Michigan already no need to play them again. Lets play an SEC Team to prove to the South Where real hard nose Football is Played.
I think they should play Notre Dame for the National Championship once again this year! That way Notre Dame can really show them who is #1!! GO IRISH!
MICHIGAN BECAUSE THEY THE BEST TEAM FOR JOB OF BEATING OHIO STATE EVEN THOUGH SCOTT SAID TWICE IN ONE YEAR MOST OF 0HIO STATE GUYS ON OFFENSE ARE GOING TO BE NFL DRAFTEES
They should definatley have a rematch with Michigan!
GO BLUE!
This will be determined on 11-25-06 after the USC vs Notre Dame game. Look at their past schedules? The winner of this game should play Ohio State! If Notre Dame wins both teams should play back here in the Midwest!!!! Boise State should play Michigan or Florida ? We need a play-off series like college baseball ! Sincerely Timothy Poling "Go Cannes Baseball "
I agree with Jim anyone but Michigan. I would like to see them play USC. After the Michigan game this past week, I don't know if I can handle another stressful game esp OSU vs MICHIGAN.
OSU vs either Michigan or USC.
Regardless of who they play, it will be an exciting game to watch on their new big screen tv at Applebee's in Middleburg Heights.
USC if they run the table... The media will push for this anyway, even they "have no influence" on the BCS rankings. yeah right... Coast to coast interest, right up the media's alley. Would be a good game even at that.

If Ohio State play's Michigan again what does that prove? A couple of thoughts:
-I personally would like to see a rematch because I'm sick of seeing Michigan getting out smarted by Tressel.
-If there is a rematch the 2 best teams are playing in the Championship according to the BCS. But that doesn't say much for the Big Ten because all that is being matched is Big Ten talent so for conference play and bragging rights I say let Ohio State kick the pants off of Notre Dame or USC and Michigan do the same to a credible conference team ie: FLorida or USC. Boise State I think is a long way from playing in a top ranked bowl game. But hats off for going undefeated.
It is very unlikely but I think and would love to see OSU play one loss West Virginia. West Virginia is the next best after OSU/Michigan and while they took a whipping from Louisville, that was really only for the second half. They are a very fast and innovative team. They National Championship matchup would be fun, entertaining and in the event of an OSU win, would prove further validation of their superior status against all comers and offenses.

I would like to see OSU beat Michigan again. At the same time, I have a cousin that is a Gator! I would like to see a BUCKEYE vs. GATORS just for bragging rights! GO BUCKEYES!!!
Boise State! They are the only other undefeated team.....LMAO we will crush them!!!!! GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OSU and Michigan are clearly the best 2 teams in college football, and the way a championship game should be played, is with the 2 best teams. Norte Dame shouldn't get it because they lost to michigan by a huge margin. The only ones who have a chance are the trojans and they will have to win out to get to number 2,but clearly USC is not better then michigan, and even if they do play OSU that game will be a blow out with OSU coming out on top. I think it would make a huge statement for big ten football to have the top 2 teams in the National championship, but the other conferences and coaches sadly won't let this happen.
The two best teams in the Nation are OSU and UoM. Any other match-up would be a joke. The only other 2 teams that could claim a game against OSU is USC, but they lost to an unranked team or Florida, who lost by 10 to Auburn ranked 11 at the time and 4 wins by a TD or less, where UM only one win by a TD. Neither records compares to a 3 point loss at the Shoe. Of the other Pretenders: Notre Dame was beat heads up by UM badly at the Bend, Arkansas was likewise spanked badly in their loss, Wisconsin was beat heads-up at The Big House and then West Virginia was beat by 10.
If UM won, then they would be champs, because they won on a neutral field. It is a shame that the almighty dollar will probably step-in and choose USC to play in the Championship and it will chalk it up to a joke of the unfunny BCS.
I would like to see a Championship played right after the end of the season. The top 4, 2 weeks and done. Bowls can return to the college match-ups of old.

Boise. The only undefeated team besides Ohio. They beat Wyoming and Oregon State U.
They've also had 5 good seasons in a row.
5 times conference winner.
