The worst gift I ever received was a laughing keychain. You could push a different button and get several different types of laughs. What made this such an awful gift was the fact that my future in-laws gave it to me. I guess they thought I was a joke. Well there is a happy ending to this story as I have been happily married to my wife for 16 years now. I haven't received anymore weird gifts from in-laws either.
Merry Christmas!

The best...in the spirit of Christmas. A few years ago my husband had emergency surgery. he came home on Christmas Eve. He was the best gift ever. Also (so sweet) since he couldn't shop he conned a friend into buying me a few stocking stuffers (he had no wallet, credit card or money in the hospital)such as lottery tickets, candy and gum. He was thinking of me even while in pain. It is not the gift it is the thought.

The best gift we've ever received was a clear bill of health for my two-and-a-half year old neice.
She had been fighting stage four cancer for over a year, and by the good grace of God, managed to pull through.

I didn't get anything for christmas this year but I have to be thankful I have a great guy that loves me a lot. That means more to me than any gift every could....

The worst gift I ever received was a portable dishwasher to replace the one that had broken (hint: gifts should be personal, meaningful, and a surprise -- not an appliance to clean the family's messes). My husband wheeled it in as if it were the Hope Diamond. I was so disappointed, but soon got over it and bought myself a new coat! He's done much better since.

The best gift I ever receive 14 years ago was that I became free from alcohol and drugs. To pass this on to others is a gift. Because if I can do it so can someone else. I thought there was no hope for me. This has been a journey I wouldn't trade for anything else. It's nothing like it.

Being with my family! That's all I ever need for Christmas.
