Parade magazine: What do you earn?

PARADE’s annual salary survey will be out this weekend -- and Channel 3 News wants to know ... is your salary up this year?

Feel free to anonymously tell us your occupation and your salary and salary range.

We'll be asking Clevelanders about their jobs for a Channel 3 News episode this weekend.

I recently began working in the Cleveland market coming from a suburb. After being in the market, I realize that I do not make what I should be making in this market. I make way below entry level in the secretary field. With a college degree and 10 years in the secretarial field. I know in the future to ask for a lot more.

I work as an Administrative Assistant in Cleveland and make 22,880.00 a year. I worked as a medical debt collector in 2005 and only made 20,800.00. Definately not on par with the people in the Parade magazine article. But I also work for a company that has under 30 employees, in a factory setting and I'm in the office.

I don't earn anything. I've been unemployed for years, and suffering from depression, since I can't find decent paying, suitable work in my field that befits my college degree from Yale. I've sent out hundreds of resumes, but it seems that locals around here place more credence (and thus hire) mostly OSU or Kent State grads, rather than individuals that attended other, non-Ohio universities! My neighbor, who owns an Accounting firm, actually told me that he ONLY hires OSU grads at his company! Such myopia and blatant favoritism has NO PLACE in our society. It's disheartening for people like myself.

I work as a day care teacher, I make less than 20,000 a year and yes we are the ones that with all our love and knowledge take care of all the children of those that make all kind of money. Now think for a second. What would you do if you have the best paid job but no where and no one who will take care of your kids , I think that we need a better pay.
