There are TOO MANY GUNS in our society that get into the hands of criminals and psychotic individuals. Americans, by this point, should have HAD ENOUGH with all these senseless killings! Our children are not safe anymore, anywhere, compared to previous generations. We need MORE gun control, BETTER backround checks, and proactive searches and confiscation of guns from felons and other criminals who should be banned from buying and owning guns in the first place! We are quickly becoming THE WILD WEST again, given the proliferation of mass public shootings in our lifetime thus far. This is extremely sad, and it is high time our legislators stop whoring themselves to the NRA and gun lobbies, and 'grow some teeth' and institute real legislation and laws to protect us all!!!
WHERE GOD IS NOT, SATNA FINDS HIS WAY IN. UNTIL WE PUT GOD AND PRAYER BACK IN OUR SCHOOL AND IN OUR LIVES, THESE TYPE OF THINGS WILL CONTINUE. IT'S THE HARSH REALITY OF IT ALL. UNTIL WE REALIZE THIS, THIS WHOLE COUNTRY IS IN TROUBLE. IT'S COMMAN SENSE. THESE SCHOOLS HAVE BECOME SATAN'S PLAYGROUND. WE SHOULD KNOW THIS BY NOW. THIS WHOLE WORLD HAS GONE TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET. IT'S NOT ABOUT US ANYMORE, IT'S ALL ABOUT GOD. WE MUST SEEK HIM FIRST AND FORMOST.
This was such a tragic event. My prayers go out to all the family and friends who have lost someone they love on this horrible day. I can't even imagine what could have been going through the shooters head as they took the lives of all those innocent people. God help us. All we can hope for now is that the wounded recover in the hospital and that if there is another person responsible that they be brought to justice. I think this will be another learning experience for the entire country.
I don't understand why anyone would make a comment about something off topic in this blog when this is a very sensitive subject. Whoever is making these comments about Aj Colby please stop. Who cares if he is gay. He is a good person and great at what he does. You must have nothing else to do if you have time to make comments on multiple fourms about something so stupid. Get a life!!!

Listen you mindless 'godbot'... having a belief, non-belief, or being 'agnostic' regarding a 'god' or 'higher power' has nothing to do with shooting innocent people! Accessibility to cheap, easy to get guns and mental illness does. Historically, do you know how many millions of innocent people have died in the name of religions? Read 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins.
I cannot believe that the White House statement regarding the tragedy at Virginia Tech was prefaced with "The president believes that there is a right for people to bear arms.." Cowboy George certainly wouldn't want to offend any of his NRA supporters. Does King George also believe that this right to bear arms extends to roadside bombs and suicide bombers?
After all, everyone should have the right to defend their country against a foreign invader.
Whoever the idiot is that made the comment about AJ Colby is obviously someone who only cares about himself/herself. First of all what happened in Virginia was a tragedy and we should be concerned about solving the problem of violence everywhere, second of all commenting towards that idiot everyone has their own private life and it should be kept as such, AJ is just doing his job and we should respect him for that, I'm sure you would be the first to jump down someone else's throat if someone made a negative comment about you, so I say to you go right ahead jump down my throat because you are an ignorant uneducated individual who needs to leave innocent people alone!
Guns don't kill people, people kills people. By saying that Guns kills people is the same as saying that a pencil made a student fail their spelling test at school for mis-spelling words.
i think its a sad day when you have people out therethat cant control there emotional problems and have to take others out to fell better about them selves one thing im glad he took his own life cause it might not help the other familes but its one less disturb person off the streets!!!
