For drivers heading west to east wishing to access Eastgate Shopping Plaza, or SOM Center Road Route 91, I suggest taking Ridgebury Road off Richmond Road and following that all the way to its end at Route 91, then turn right. You can also pick up Ridgebury from Brainard Road. Hillcrest Hospital driveway can be accessed through the rear parking lot of Eastgate, thus bypassing all major construction.
Monticello/Wilson Mills to Route 91 is another west to east alternative.

I am sure that all the other roads in Mayfield Hts are going to be a nightmare. You can cut up any of the side streets to get behind the Mayfield hts. Park, and the Golden Gate shopping Center, but you still have to come back down S.O.M so you will be stuck in traffic there. If you take Ridgebury, it is only 1 lane as well, so I am sure it will be backed up. Just remember not to go speeding down side streets when you lose your patients. Keep an eye out for children, joggers, and pets!

Unfortunately when these projects were planned to resurface Mayfield Rd. No one considered that 2 other main roads that you would be able to detour to are also under construction. One is Cedar Rd between Brainard & Lander Rds. The other is Wilson Mills Rd. All roads run east to west. The Wilson Mills project has not gone into full swing yet. But when all 3 of these are in full swing there
are going to be some aggravated drivers. This would leave Ridgebury Blvd, which is just 2 lanes. There will be alot of zigzagging through side streets to main roads to cut throughs ever thought of before. I just hope everyone cutting down the side streets watch out the kids playing out in their yards.

To avoid Mayfield road to get to 91 Eastgate area. Coming from west on Mayfield. Jump on the freeway at Brainard and get off at Mayfield. You can go either east or west
