Wow...I had hoped it wouldn't have ended like this. I can't help but compare this tragedy to that of Laci Peterson. I can't believe there are such horrible people in this world who would harm a pregnant woman and her unborn baby. Especially the father's of those babies! I can only say that my thoughts and prayers are with Jessie's family, especially her mother and son.

To Jessie Davis's family.
My husband and I are praying for the strength for you to go forward without that beautiful, vivacious gal who was carrying your granddaughter. She was clearly a great mom to Blake and a loving daughter and sister. I am just so sorry. God be with you. Don't think that He has left you, for God never promised us smooth sailing through life. He promised us comfort and peace to come through the stress and pain. Hopefully the stress that little guy was under by being left alone by his father to fend for himself will be erased by your loving family. Of all the rage that one feels toward this coward, it is that he left his little boy alone for almost two days with no thought of food for him, hazards of being left alone. He could have sloshed through and been burned by the bleach on the floor. What an unmitigated jerk. I am have said enough. We are praying for you and your family.

I wish there was something that I could have done to help, besides praying. I unforantly was on the other side of this situation last year. My cousin kidnapped his wife then murder her and then shot himself. No one knows why he did it.
His children with his wife are being with held from his side if the family. I am not siding with his jerk by anymeans however please remember that Blake will one day hear everything being siad about both of his parents. We are learning from our own tradagy that only one man did this. His family had nothing to do with the murder (hopefully). And if all this baby hears growing up, is all the bad things about his father he will begin to place the blame on hiself or believe he will grow up and become a monster just like his father. I just hope you will be able to learn alittle bit from our story so you wont make the same mistakes we did. I am sure your family is being very level headed about what is spoken around Blake. I pray that Bobby is found guilty and given the death peanlty, it is hard to say even if my cousin had not killed himself, he should have recieved the dealth penalty for his actions. There is never any reason to take a human life and that of your unborn child. That is the cowards way out. I will always keep your family esp little Blake in my thoughts and prayers as long as I live. Never let a day go by without telling Blake how much his mommy loved him and she and Chole are always with him. I pride you on how composded through out this ordeal you and your family have been. Just know Jessie will walk beside you always.

Trust in him and he will bring you through this. From the outpouring of support from people and how they all came together its a blessng to know just how much people care. I have held my breath this entire time hoping Jessie would come home safely with Chloe. My mind told me one thing but my heart was hoping for more. My deespest sympathies for the entire family. For Jessie's Mom, I know the loss of a mother and a daughter. I lost my Mother in 2002. There is no other bond in life like that of a Mother/Daughter. No one else truly can phathom the bond. Look over the good memories and laugh. When you think of the sad, cry. But always hold the memory of Jessie and Chloe close to your heart--it will make you whole. Keep God close to you.

INTO GOD’S ARM’S

This morning I saw a bird flying over head, and I thought of you. Its wings were so beautiful and spread wide open, towards heaven it flew.

I felt the warm spring breeze all around me and I thought of your embrace. The heat of the sun was pleasing, just as I remember the smile on your face.

Tears filled my eyes for a moment, as I gazed into the sky. My heart knew the truth, you can soar high like an eagle, because Angels can fly.

With faith, my heart is content, because I know where you are. You are in a special place, not very far.

The gates of Heaven were wide open and God held out his hands to you. No words were spoken, into his hands you flew. Now Heaven is a better place.

To Jessie's family: As the country watched your personal tragedy play out this week, we were all drawn in by the sight of Jessie's beautiful son Blake and the love your family clearly has for each other. This tragedy sruck me personally because I'm a single mom who grew up in NE Ohio, my son's name is Blake also, and Jessie last spoke to her mother on my mother's birthday. I've prayed all week that Jessie and Chloe would come home safely to their loving family, but of course that did not happen. No words are sufficient to ease your pain, but please know that thousands of people across this country have been praying with you and for your entire family as you go through this horrible chapter of your life. May God give you strength and bless you as you mourn the loss of Chloe and celebrate the life of your beloved Jessie. Raising little Blake will surely bring you comfort and joy as you are reminded of Jessie and their special relationship. God bless you all! You're all in my prayers! Hugs

As a mother of a young adult who also will soon leave our safe nest, I can not even fathom the grief, anger, sorrow and thoughts of "what" or "why" that your family must be dealing with. My child and I held you and Jessie in our thoughts and prayers. Today, as a community of this changing world, we stand hoping for your strength to return so you as a family can face what is ahead.
There are many lessons learned for all of us here by the strength you demonstrated during your search, now after Jessie and her daughter were found and I am sure what will come in future days/months. Hopefully this time we all will be listening as we should be after tragic events occur. Viligence by the community should never be one of hindsight. Involvement is the key and pulling our heads from Ostrich positions to get involved. Blessings to you and yours. Let your daughter's legacy be one the community learns from.

I have never in my 49 years had a story touch me and upset me as much as this case. From day one when I found out Jessie was missing my heart bled for the family and Jessie. And little Blake. I just cannot comprehend how a father could leave his son in that house all alone for almost two days let alone let him witness what he did. He had a precious mother in Jessie. All you had to do was look at the pictures. My 25 year old daughter was involved in the search on Saturday and has been touched deeply by this as well. We both broke down and cried upon hearing the news yesterday. May justice be served and it will. God bless all of you and I continue to pray for all of you. It is as though the entire community has pulled together as one. You have so many people praying for you all. God Bless.

I never knew Jessie or her loving family, but was touched by the pictures of this beautiful, young mother on television. Everyday, I held out hope that she would be found unharmed. Everyday, I thought of her. Now that she has been found, I have faith in our justice system. I know that putting someone in jail for life will never bring back Jessie, but maybe knowing that she and her daughter are with God helps ease the pain, even if only slightly. I am so sorry for the loss and the pain that everyone has to go through. I can't imagine what it feels like. The only thing that I do know is this: Jessie could have been my sister, my daughter, my best friend. May God be with her family during this hard time.

In Special Memory of all those parents
who have gone through the grief of losing a child.

A Child of Mine

"I'll lend you for a little time,
a child of Mine," He said,
"For you to love the while she lives,
and mourn when she is dead.

It may be six or seven years,
or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call her back,
take care of her for Me?

She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
and should her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories
as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay,
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over
in My search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes
I have selected you.

Now will you give her all your love,
nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call
to take her home again!"

We fancied that we heard them say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done!
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
the risk of grief we'll run.

We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
forever grateful stay;

But should the angels call for her
much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand."

How does one even begin the grieving process when something so unfathomable has happened? And not only has it happened, but it has happened to someone you love?

This story has shocked and horrified many families from coast to coast – mine included. We watched and prayed for Jessie and baby Chloe's safety, hoping Jessie would walk right back into her home as mysteriously as she vanished.

I may not know the Davis family, as most of us don’t, but that does not make this situation any less heart-wrenching. My tears have flowed as have my prayers.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers will continue to be for Jessie’s family, her beautiful son Blake, and her friends.

Every thought and prayer within my heart is with this beautiful young woman and her infant Chloe, who did not deserve to die.
Perhaps we can find some consolation in the fact that our Dear Lord holds Jessie and Chloe now in his arms, safe from harm forever more.
May the memories Jessie has given to her family over the years help them find the strength to continue on, and may that dear little boy grow up strong and healthy and perhaps end up doing some good in his life to honor the life of his beloved mother and baby sister.
May justice be served.
My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Jessie's mother as well as the rest of her family and friends.

As a boy he was raised by his grandmother, and he didn't feel like he could talk about it because she would cry and he didn't want to see her hurt. My thoughts and prayers are with you constantly! My heart aches for your family! Although I don't know exactly what you are feeling, I do know what it is like to lose a loved one. I lost my father in January of 2006. I know I would not have made it would it not have been for God's strength. He can give you an amazing peace and comfort that you won't find anywhere else. I would like to give you some lyrics from a christian song by a group called Third Day. The song is called Cry Out to Jesus.

To everyone who's lost someone they love long before it was their time.
You feel like the days you had were not enough
When you said goodbye.

There is hope for the helpless,
Rest for the weary,
Love for the broken heart.
There is grace and forgiveness,
mercy and healing.
He'll meet you wherever you are.
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus.

When you're lonely
And it feels like the whole world is falling on you,
You just reach out, just cry out to Jesus, Cry to Jesus.

I encourage you to cry out to Jesus. He can carry you through this!

Our deepest condolences and sympathy go out to the Davis family, and all friends and family who knew beautiful, radiant Jessie. The whole WORLD has been affected and saddened by this unspeakable, incomprehensible crime and savage act. May you find the strength and courage to bear the pain and anguish, because we truly share it with you. Find love and joy thru Blake, and love, cherish, and care for him like his own mommy did. Godspeed to all of you, and may justice be served swiftly and without mercy.

I personaly this that Cutts Jr. Should get 20-50 years in Prison and then be tried again for the Death penalty. He would not suffer at all if you gave him the death Penalty right away. He Deserves to Die suffering like The Davis family is because he Killed Jesse Davis.

Bobby Cutts Jr. Is a pure Moron. Jesse's Mother is right. He Deserves Justice...

I want to take a moment to say how sorry I am for both of your losses, your beloved Jesse and Chloe. I had been keeping my fingers crossed since day one that this would not be the outcome, and I am so heartbroken it ended as it did.

Also, please hold on to your grandson and give him as many hugs and kisses and as much love as you can. Let him know he is loved and also let him know what a wonderful mother he had. She appeared to be a wonderful woman and a very loving mother. They are now beautiful angels flying free.

I don't know your family, but I feel your pain, and how I wish there was more I can do to help you. Overnight she became "our" child all across our nation, and a whole country mourns with you. I am praying for your family each and everyday.

Also, I am praying justice will be served for this horrific event that deserves the most severe of punishments.

We will keep you in our prayers for the up hill battle you all are just about to begin. Ms.Porter and Whitney you both seem like such strong women and this will only make you stronger. This battle is one that god has chosen you all for and knows, if any two people can make it through you both will be the rock of the family and finish fighting the fight for Jesse and Chole. Whitney you were a wonderful sister going in front of the news reporters and holding up so well. And I truly loved how you put them in their place, when they asked just stupid questions (even though we all know that is there job). You are an amazing women who is going to help raise Blake and you will always keep his mom and sister alive to him. May god bless your family and you all stay stong, know that the world is out there still on your side helping you all to fight for justice for Jessie and Chole.

Your loss I know is unbearable and I cannot say or know if your heart will ever stop breaking. I, having a daughter only a few years younger than Jessie, cannot imagine that it ever will. I do know however, from the interviews that I have seen and from your appearances today in court that you all are an absolutely incredible family and that the inner stregnth that I have witnessed during these interviews and during the court appearance will carry you through many dark days. And even though I did not know Jessie, I know that she would be so proud of how you have handled yourselves and how much compassion and thoughtfulness that you have shown for the other children and family members involved in this horrible, horrible crime that has fallen on your family. May
God be with you and heal your broken hearts.

You can never imagine how families deal with this sort of thing and yet your heart goes out. This is different...so close to home right in our own backyard.

The family has been stronger than I could ever imagine myself if my children, around the same age, were to have this happen to them. My heart goes out to you all.

Patty- The way you dealt with this amazes me. It takes a strong woman with a heart of gold to have a daughter violently taken from you, and still worrying about Cutts family and children. I only hope that I could be just that strong.

Whitney- I have no idea if I could be the one holding everything together when talking about my sister. Your sister is definitely proud of you and all you have done for her in the search, media, and home.

And for Blake- Never forget how much your mother cared for you. You were her life, and her joy and not one day goes by that she does not think of you and smile. Always know she's watching over you. Even on the day when you finally walk down the asile, she'll be there crying tears of joy knowing the wonderful man you have become. Your mother will always be there until the day you go home to greet her.

We always say that this would never happen to my family, never in Ohio. This tragic event goes to show it does. This makes me want to hold my children close and tell them that I love them. You never know when this could happen to you.

May God continue to give your family the strength and courage to go on through this hard time. Fall into His lap, and tell Him your sorrows. He'll be there always to guide you and help you. Stay strong and keep your beautiful family close!

Sitting in my Canton home its hard to believe thigs like this can happen to such a wonderful family. The heavens are much brighter tonight, because they have not just one extra angel to watch over us all but two. May God bless you all.

I truely believe that someone who kills/murders an innocent child or fetus in this situation (especially there own), should get the max punishment. When I first heard of Bobby Cutts committing this act I really couldn't not believe it. I hope that he gets the punishment that he deserves. I really don't wanna make this seem like a hate letter or anything like that, but this man does not deserve to live anymore. Always remember that Jehovah God is a god of love and promises a resurrection of the dead and the hope that Jessie and her little daughter will live again under paradise conditions where these horrible things will not occur. God also says in the Bible, that He will repay those that murder. Let these promises and the words you read from many caring people comfort you in your time of loss.

I know what it is like to lose a child, it is heartwrenching and life changing. I speak from experience, although it is no where similar to your circumstances, I do understand. I will not be one of those people that tells you that it gets better with time because it doesn't. You just become a little more numb -however you will eventually find some comfort in knowing that you, your family and Blake will forever have your very own angels looking over your family and Jessie will send you signs that she and baby Chloe are around you. My son sends butterflies to me, my husband and his younger sisters. She will always be right there and you will feel that. I will continue to pray for all of you and I know, with all I am that justice will be served for Jessie and baby Chloe. Let Blake continue to call his mommy on that cell phone...calls to heaven never go unanswered. God bless.

I have been deeply touched by the death of Jessie Davis and her unborn child. And the unbearable deep grief suffered by her family, relatives and friends. This story has literally affected me emotionally just as it has to millions of people across the world. It is such a shame that two lives had to end to the hands of another "Bobby Cutts" who apparently has a psychological problem that no one knew of until now. I am not not only saddened but angry too and I hope that he not only gets sentenced to death but buried under the jail too. May God comfort you during your time of grieving and continue to heal your hearts forever.

I got lucky in meeting Jessie that day. Oh how happy she was about the baby coming soon. I ask her the name of her baby and Jessie proudly said Chole. What a beautiful name. The one thing I remmber about Blake is he never crys always so happy. God and you Patty will give Blake the strength he will need as he grows up. I will always be thinking of you and pray for you and Blake. Vicki

My thoughts go to the Davis family, this tragedy has united not only a state but a country. You have the thoughts and prayers of millions.

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the lord. Scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each, I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimesthere were two sets of footprints; other times there were only one.

During the lowest times of my life I could see only one set of footprints, so I said, "Lord, you promised me, that toy would walk with me always, Why, when I have needed you most, would you leave me?

The Lord Replied, "My precious child, I love you and would never leave you, The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

I live in North Canton and I work 1.4 miles from where Jessie lived. I was unable to help in the search due to my work schedule however I was able to drop off several case's of water for the searchers. Being from Canton it was so overwelming to see how our community pulled together in a time like this. I did not know Jessie either but for the past 10 days I felt as if I knew her and her family. To drive by certain places and to know she was there hours before Mr Cutts deceided to end her life is very sad! I'm very proud to say I'm from Stark County b/c our community pulled together for a very good purpose. Everyone was determined to find Jessie & Chloe and bring them home. In a world where know one really has time to say thank you, everyone always seems to be in such a hurry. I saw my community pull together and everyone was helping everyone to find one of our own. Jessie & Chloe WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!! I continue to pray for all the families affected by this tradegdy. We must not forget Blake lost both of his parents, I pray for that little boy as well as the other children out there that lost their dad. I pray for both families that they find the strength to carry on. Jessie's family lost a beautiful daughter & grand daughter, Mr Cutt's family lost a beautiful grand daughter as well as a 2 year old grandson. His family has no control over what happened. Can you imagine how they must be feeling? I have no sympathy for Mr Cutt's but I try not to judge because he will be judged by God and he'll have to answer for his actions. I just really wanted to say we love you Jessie & Chloe and you will NEVER be forgotten!

To Jessie's Family,
Stay strong, hold on to each other and never let go. The Devil cast his eyes on Jessie and he almost won, but God pulled her to him quickly and strongly to save her soul from anymore of what her body had already endured, only he knew what may have been happening in her relationships and life. Only he knew what no one else did. Only he had the power to protect their souls from their murderer. To me that sometimes means taking their life and soul before the devil can claim it. The villain who stopped their hearts from beating, did not stop their soul from soaring to the heavens and to the right hand of God.
We are all innocent until proven guilty, and it is my hope that the proof will be so overwhelming that the Devil will be awarded their souls for what they did to Jessie and Chloe. Rage and anger can never be used as an excuse to inflict hate and pain on another person. Your family strength will see you through the media and the trial and then your family strength will bind you all together in Jessie's and Chloe's love.
Rest in the arms of the Lord Jessie and Chloe and watch over your family from your heavenly home.

Your strength and unity through this ordeal has been an inspiration to many. The way the family handled the media was always professional. Mr. Davis was always present, mingling and thanking volunteers personally at the search post. The pain in his eyes kept me coming back to search more. She's found now, and I pray for peace as you move into the next challenges. May the Lord continue to provide you with the strength you have demonstrated in the times ahead. - Stacy

My name is Patti; I have a 30 year old daughter and a 10 year old grandson; I don't know how you feel right now but I know what it is to love a child and grandchild. There are no words to explain it. I was once told that God uses children to teach adults. Well God certainly taught us, through Jessie that people will come together to help others in times of loss, pain and helplessness. I didn't know Jessie but just watching the news coverage gave me great Faith that through all of the ugliness on this earth, people are still good and kind and there for each other. That was God teaching us, through your beautiful daughter. I also want to say that your 20 year old daughter, that handled the press, is most admirable and she displayed a greater strength than I think I ever could. God Bless her and all of you. Even when the news coverage ends I will still always remember your daughter.

Dear Davis-Porter Family,
I want you all to know that my thoughts are with you and of your precious Blake. I have watched this story from the beginning and had hoped for the best. I am so sorry for your loss and I find myself crying every time I watch the news over this. I will never forget your daughter, sister, mommies beautiful smile that they show on the news daily. I hope that that EVIL SOB gets what is coming to him infact I know he will!! Your family has handled this with such class that it is very commendable. I know this is horrible and no parent wants to ever go thru this, but your beautiful daughter and granddaughter are in heaven looking down on all of you and watching over you and her precious baby boy. My heart aches for you and please know that we as a nation feel your pain and want to show your family love at this very difficult time in your life. I will be praying for you all on Saturday as you say your final good bye to Jesse.

Chloe , Blake, and Jessie
Dear Baby Chloe, you were never able to take a breath in this world, or meet your family, but you will be in the hearts of so many people, for the rest of our lives. You are loved by more people then you will ever be able to know. Please look over us from Heaven. You will not be forgotten.

Dear Blake, you are a very smart, brave, and couragous young boy. Any mother would be so proud of you for the things you have done in two short years. The whole community, and nation have you in their hearts. We are saddened that you have lost your mommy, and were not able to meet your little sister Chloe. We also know that there are so many who love you, and care about you and your well being. You have a great family that will be able to share wonderful, excellant memories of your mommy.

Dear Jessie, God I am not sure where to begin. I did not know you, but like so many others you have touched my heart. Our lives seemed somewhat similar in a weird way. I am so sorry that yours had to end so tragically. I know in my soul that you did everything you could do to protect yourself, Chloe, and Blake. They tell us that God does everything for a reason. At times like this it is hard to understand all of this though. A long time ago I attended a funeral for a young person and the preacher told us that "God doesn't always want to be with older people, he likes young people too!" It was his way of trying to get us to understand that ones life is not determined by age, but by how you lived. I know that you were a great mom, sister, daughter. Your family has been so strong for you and Blake.

Everyone wants to see Justice for you and Chloe. May God Bless you and your family. I know that Blake will have two very special angels smiling down on him for the rest of his life.

You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My son wrote this poem when his uncle died and it helped us I hope it helps you get through this tragic time
BYE
I might cry
Or blow sky high
Why must I say goodbye
Why must I go
Why must I cry
But why must I say goodbye
Be strong
Be bold
While you say goodbye

Please know that Jessie has touched the heart of millions. Her work on this earth was done as she made countless people think about how fragile life is and to make their time on this earth count. I am one of those.

I will never forget her beautiful smile inside and out.

To Those Whom I Love And Those Who Love Me - Mary Alice Ramish
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thankyou for the love each have shown
But now it is time I travelled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and a
“Welcome Home”

Our deepest sympathies,

I prayed that Jessie would be found alive, and it broke my heart when I heard the news about she and her unborn baby.

Just remember, they are in the arms of the angels; may you find some comfort here.

Dear Porter/Davis families,
We hope that you can find peace and comfort in your memories and pleasant thoughts of Jessie. Our prayers and thoughts have and will be with you, Blake, and the other children affected by this senseless loss of 2 beautiful lives. The family is such an inspiration. Your strength and love is what kept my friends and I searching for 3 days. May the lord hold you in his arms for your comfort as he is Jessie and Chloe, now 2 beautiful angels.
You are in our thoughts. God Bless. Melissa, Alliance, OH

Patricia and Whitney,
God Bless you during these times. As a person in your shoes, the road is tough and will be tough but remember the good times, and live for that little boy Blake. I prayed to my deceased fiance to care and love Jesse and Chloe. Know that she will always be with you both forever. Stay strong and shed many tears...it helps..
