All you do up here is hate Yankee fans? I was born, raised and love the Bronx and better yet, the Yanks. Unfortunately, I am now living in Cleveland with a bunch of trash talking, uneducated fans who can't even name ten players on their own team!

I attended probably about 20 tribe games this season and guess what-- none of them were sold out until maybe the past month. Fair weather fans....

I went to the game last night and was spit on by a ten year old, yelled at nose to nose by four grown men and one woman. And it wasn't about the game-- the fans here got personal calling me obscenities, throwing beer and peanuts at people who paid good money to come watch the game? This is what Cleveland has to offer? Of course there will always be people yelling and screaming and chanting team things but it goes to a whole other level when people get personal. These aren't fans, these arent even people. They are trash. Cleveland keep your trash. Dont come to NY, our people may have a reputation for being trash talkers but never would they ever put on a scene like I witnessed last night. That is why Lebron likes the Yankees. They have class--those pinstripes mean something, and it is something no person in Cleveland will ever understand. 26 time world series champs and what no win since '48 for the tribe?
What do any of you care what Lebron does? He has brought this city more than other player has thus far! Get a life Cleveland and why dont you concentrate on cheering for your teams and stop trashing talking all Cleveland's opponents!! You make yourselves look like fools because the fact is there is STILL no team here who has a CHAMPIONSHIP!

Anonymous I apologize for the rudeness of the Tribe fans. Not all of us are like that! It can be embarassing at times. I wish our fans would learn to behave. I saw the same type of stuff at the Browns/Ravens game last week. I'm not a native to NE Ohio so I don't know what drives this type of stuff, but trust me we are not all inconsiderate and rude!

Dear anonymous,

Hey I am a Cleveland fan and I think that's pretty harsh! No one should be mistreated like that when they come to enjoy a game. So your frustration and point is taken on that note.

However, don't turn around and trash talk us here in Cleveland because it makes you look like even less of a person than our trash talking Cleveland fans.

As far as Lebron showing his team pride you are missing the point. Lebron is from the Akron-Cleveland area where..uh a lot of Indians fans reside. And a good number of Cavs fans who support Lebron are Indians fans! So as far as his class act of supporting the Yanks on national TV, I'd say he's alienated that percentage of loyal Cavs fans who go to Indians games. Hey I don't have a problem with anyone supporting their favorite team, but he had to know that it offended some of us Tribe fans. Because he's too cheap to get a lodge to celebrate with his croonies he sat down right in the middle of the crowd.

The Yanks have enough rings that I don't even have enough fingers to hold them all. Hey I think that is great. But...

It's pretty obvious that you don't understand at all from our perspective how important this series is to us. And don't think for one minute that Yankee fans don't trash talk us either.

Hey and while you're living here in Cleveland...why don't you help us out by um..cheering for the Indians. That would be greatly appreciated. Hey it's just a game and you're taking it way to personal my friend.

But again, I don't think you should have been treated that way at the game, and in my opinion those fans should have been escorted out of the ballpark. But, don't taunt us with statistics and numbers about a Championship. Our Indians team is in this for the right reason. This may be new to them, but the Yankees already know what it's like. And as for King James...sorry my friend all he cares about is himself and the almighty dollar.

Oh and uh.. did you want to see the names of at least 10 players on our team that I as a Tribe fan know very well, let me enlighten you on that:

Grady Sizemore
Asdrubal Cabrera
Kenny Lofton
Trot Nixon
Ryan Garko
Victor Martinez
C.C Sabathia
Jason Michaels
Franklin Gutierrez
Travis Hafner.

Well...there's ten players I know of on our team I could name more if you would like.

Have a Nice Day! And enjoy the postseason my friend!

Regarding Lebron:

The same people who are upset now will be sporting his jersey when the Cavs season opens up.

At least he is being honest with himself and the city about his favorite. It has been known for quite sometime that he is a Yankee fan. If he changed now, he would be as bad as the other fair weather Cleveland fans (regardless of sport).

I would like to see the Tribe win, but don't make this into a 'LeBron' issue. Let the Indians rule in the spotlight and not the 1 man Cavalier.

Indians fans don't get your hopes up...they may win one more game but it ain't gonna happen...we've been down this road before...it's already been decided as to who, or who is not, going to the World Series.

great game once CC settled in. And lets hear it for our middle relief!
As for Lebron, he should be ashamed of himself for not supporting his Cleveland sports brothers. I think the entire Indians org. should pay their respects to the CAvs by showing up for a game in the opposition's gear. Lastly, for the blogger who complained about being treated so dispargingly at the game-you should be used to such behavior, there are jerks in every major city, including NYC. Get over it and concentrate on the merits of Baseball playoffs, not the cad sitting next to you. It really sounds like sour grapes in light of the fact the Yanks were trounced so soundly,. See you in the Series.

I am a Cleveland indians fan and have been for as long as I can remember. I have lived in Cleveland my whole life. I may be naive but I have not witnessed any of the behavior mentioned, ever ,at an indians game. I am sure it happens in every stadium in the entire U.S. of A. It's not about Cleveland and class, it's about the general population of this great nation and their level of class. It is on a decline in general. If you "unfortunately" live in Cleveland than I am pretty sure New York is still there. Don't let the door hit you where God split you.
As far as Lebron goes. He is pitiful and a disgrace. As far as i am concerned last night he spat on every single Cleveland fan that supports the sports teams in this town. He is a born and bread native and plays for a Cleveland team. How one could ever find that to be OK is beyond me. He should be our ambassador and support our town and our sports teams. That should need no explanation. If he likes New York so much than perhaps he should get on the same plane with Mr. Cleveland hater and the two of you can go paint the town.
Go Tribe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Tribe! As for LeBron James, he can either watch from his own home and root his little heart out or he can go live there for all I care. I think that what he did was rude and disrespectful to not only the Indian organization, but to the greater Cleveland area who pays his paycheck. Maybe we should start wearing Pistons caps to the Cavaliers games and see how it likes it in his house!

Dear Yankee fan:

If you have such a problem with Cleveland and its residents, why aren't you back in New York? Cleveland must be serving some sort of purpose for you, otherwise you wouldn't be here. As for Yankee fans having class... I'm sure that's true to some degree, but you obviously can't be counted as one of them. Please reread your post and you will see that you're the one who's doing the trash talking. Stop being a sore loser.

It's absurd to say that Cleveland fans are the only ones in the world who act the way you say they do. This type of behavior happens at most sporting events in every city. I'm sure it takes place in the Bronx as well, but since it is directed at opposing team's fans you don't notice it as out of line. In fact I know someone who went to an Indians-Yankees game in the Bronx and was repeatedly elbowed whenever she cheered for the Indians by the Yankees fan sitting next to her. So stop thinking that Yankees fans are all high and mighty and full of class. And congrats on those 26 titles. My only question though is since the Yankees have the highest payroll every year, why don't they win it every year. The fact that the Yankees buy World Series titles is the main reason we hate the Yankees. It's fine for Lebron to cheer for the Yankees but don't wear Yankees items to Jacobs Field. It's a slap in the face to the die hard Cleveland fans who cheer on all of our sports team and rather immature. If Braylon Edwards who went to the University of Michigan and does the O-H-I-O chant during a break in the Browns game because he loves the city and fans of Cleveland, then Lebron might think about wising up. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. I'm sure he would think differently if Grady Sizemore was sitting in the front row at half court wearing a Pistons jersey at the Q.

So Lebron grew up rooting for the Yankees... Isn't that his choice? How is it any different from native Clevelanders who root for the Pittsburgh Steelers? I see Steelers shirts, jackets, bumper stickers, etc., all over the place. If your from Pittsburgh originally that's one thing but if you just started rooting for them because they win... C'mon, let Lebron have his Yankees hat. He's just one more Yankees honk that will go home disappointed when the Tribe sweeps Steinbrenner's evil empire.

Anonymous,

I'm sorry you had to deal with the rude fans at the game last night. I have been in your place visiting other venues. For instance, at the 2000 Oakland Raiders/Browns game, I was surrounded by groups of Raider fans trying to start a fight, not once, but twice. Parents encouraged their 8-10 year olds to throw things at the opposing fans. I've experienced the same thing in Pittsburgh. I'm here to tell you to deal with it. I don't support rude fans, but if you enter the opposing team's venue you are naive to thing that some drunk or ignorant fan might target you. I would expect the same thing to happen to me in your beloved Bronx.

In regards to LeBron, I heard it said you can love your team, but to publicly flaunt it for a hometown celebrity is wrong. It's like cheating on your wife with your high school sweetheart just because you've always been in love with her. It's still not right.

Good luck to the Yankees in the future, but GO TRIBE!!!!

To whoever posted the anonymous comment at 9:15am, I agree. I am a die-hard INDIANS fan, and I have witnessed less than classy behavior of Cleveland fans towards NY fans. My husband loves NY, and every time we go to a game, he gets heckled and I get harassed for being with a NY fan. Yes, I want to see NY go down, but I am not disrespecting anyone for who they root for. Heck, one time our friend's 9 year old daughter was verbally assaulted by a grown man for wearing NY gear. We went to Yankee Stadium a few years back to see NY and Cleveland play, and I wasn't ONCE harassed by NY fans. Also, who gives a dang who LeBron roots for. I believe he has earned the right in Cleveland to openly root for a team that he has supported for years. I love LeBron and he can do no wrong in my eyes. For this, I respect the Yankees but I am looking forward to the INDIANS taking it all.

I think everyone is making too big of a deal about nothing. Lebron is a human being and has a right to his opinion he is only obligated to the Cavs. Just because he is a Cavs player and rolemodel doesnt mean he has to be a fan of other Cleveland teams. He has his rights like everyone else. He is not disrespectful to Cleveland because of this. As far as Cleveland fans yes they are rough. Its great to be supportive of the team of your choice but not to go overboard. I used to work at Browns stadium and heard of a man urinating on another man becuase h e was Pittsburgh fan!! How sick is that. (GO Pittsburgh) and i have been called several derogatory names because I have worn Pittsburgh stuff. Its okay to talk trash but some people just need to calm it down,

Oh get over it NY boyz! Lebron is showing his ignorance. He may be "in the money" as an athlete but he lacks the intelligence & grace God gave a goose. Lebron James made a poor choice wearing the Yankee's hat. I have lived in Cleveland my whole life and support each team, well not so much the Cavs anymore. The City of Cleveland supported him so much during the basketball season and now he pretty much just slaps the city in the face with this little stunt. LeBron you are an arrogant fool, and I don't care how good of a basketball player you are. I have lost all respect for him. I'm sure there are more people out there who share the same view as I do. Lebron James is a young man who yesterday displayed the most god given right - FREEDOM. However just because you have the right to do something does not mean that you will not pay for your freedom to do it.
Lebron James is not anybody or anyone. He WAS an inspiration, but now we see he is a young punk with no morals.Lebron should have thought about what would happen when he publicy displayed to the citizens of Cleveland about his favorite team.
The same citizens who supported him when came to play at the Gund. The same citizens who supported him when he was in high school.
The same citizens who pay his paycheck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't help but wonder if this is his plan to have a reason to sign with, I don't know a New York team.
Lebron, go to New York, you have in one night lost everything that you gave to the City of Cleveland.
Lebron, The City of Cleveland does not need a basketball team to survive and the hard earned money that the fans spent to come to the Gund to watch you dribble a ball will no longer be.
I suggest to every Cavs fan that spends money on the Cavs, that maybe we should spend that money on the Indians, but remember not 200 million dollars worth!!!!!!!!!
What will New York do when 200 million can't by a ring??????
Lebron what will you do if you get hurt and can no longer play basketball, who do you think will be there for you???????????
NOT CLEVELAND - NOT CLEVELAND
Lebron leave my city, YOU are no longer welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lebron has the right to root on which ever team he wants. HOWEVER, as an icon of our city, he should have shown more maturity and simply leave the hat at home!

He wore the hat because he has become a media-starved-attention whore. Period.

Cleveland is a small, proudful city in which it has a relatively small sports population that roots on all of its home teams. Therefore, Lebron, when you upset the Indians fans you are also upsetting your fans (Dan Gilbert must be happy today)!

Although his true intention might be someday soon to be part of a New York team and this might have been staged to that end. I hope not, we all thought that he is our hope and to fulfill our dreams for the first championship in many of our lifetimes! At a minimum, Clevelanders no longer see him as the national ambassador of Cleveland sports.

All of this because Lebron could not simply leave the hat at home.

Hey 'anonymous from The Bronx', I totally feel your pain. I too, was raised in that general area (born NYC, raised in The Bronx and Northern New Jersey), and moved to NE Ohio 12 years ago to be with my lovely wife, who is a Clevelander, born and bred. I know first hand EXACTLY what you mean, as I too have been spit upon, cursed at, had my car vandalized, and physically threatened for wearing a Yankees shirt in public- all unprovoked (and I really like The Tribe too, which is ironic)! As recently as last month, I was walking my dog wearing a Yankees jersey, minding my own business, when a couple of young thugs stopped their car next to the sidewalk, yelled anti-Yankees obscenities, and attempted to senselessly pepper spray me, in broad daylight, in a residential area no less!! I now carry pepper spray myself when wearing my Yankees garb in public. I've lived in and visited several large metro areas in my lifetime thus far, and have NEVER encountered such blind, 'foaming at the mouth' fanaticism and fervor for sports in general, than I have in the Cleveland area! If I had to venture an educated guess as to why some (not all) of these idiots act the way they do, it is because they have NO CLASS, and they are so utterly frustrated and STARVED for a national title. What should be a friendly and respectful rivalry between classic, storied teams like The Browns/Steelers, and The Indians/Yankees, has of late turned into a true hatefest replete with violence from some of these neanderthal fans. And when you have irresponsible guys like Mike Trivisonno or news anchors 'fanning the flames' by saying things like 'I hate the Yankees' or 'I hate The Steelers', it's no wonder some of these idiots around here 'cross the line'. There is a valid 'sociological study' in all of this somewhere...

That said, most Tribe fans are civil and respectful citizens who have my respect and admiration. It is the few losers that ruin it for everyone else (isn't it always?).

Regarding the game, The Yankees played terribly, and The Indians were on fire, and played as a whole team unit. They have an excellent chance of making it to 'the big dance' given their high level of play, and my gut feeling is that Lofton and co. are going to be The World Series champions for 2007! May the best team win!

To the NY fan:

LeBron is amazing (and as a relocated Cleveland fan, I'm EXTREMELY happy to have him), but he never won a Final Championship either, same as the Indians. So chill out, and stop putting words in LeBron's mouth by saying "this is why he is a NY fan"...god, I almost wanted to throw up when I read that. He's just a fan of NY; big whoop. It doesn't bother me one bit. But I'm sure he's not a fan because "New Yorkers are more sophisticated". HAHA!

Bottom line; you are a Yankees fan. You cheer for the biggest, baddest baseball club east of the Mississippi with the deepest pockets. You have more championships than anyone and you're teams history is deeply rooted in controversy. If you don't like Cleveland, or its fans for that matter...go to Boston, and have fun there!

Peace out...and GO TRIBE!!! They are having a GREAT year!!! =)

I do not condone disrespect towards opposing fans. Good-natured fun is one thing but spitting on people and assaulting them is totally out of line. However, this does happen at other venues, including NY. I had a chance at Yankee tickets for Sunday but turned them down after finding out the tix were in a section noted for abuse by Yankee fans.

As for LeBron. I don't mind that he is a Yankees fan, but I do think it was disrespectful to wear the cap to the Jake. However, it is not the worst thing that a person could do and to condemn him the way many people are is just stupid. Give me a break. He made a bad judgement call. He's human. For those of you who say he should go to NY or that you won't support the Cavs, you need to stop and use your brain. True Cavs fans realize that there's more to the Cavs than LeBron but know LBJ is an important part of the team. I want the Cavs to be the best team that they can be. Maybe I am selfish, but I want to see many more years where we have Cleveland teams in playoffs. Go Cavs and Go Tribe!

He is mature beyond his age and very grounded. It has been a known fact that he has always been a Yankees fan. I would think less of him if he tried to be fake about it. He has said that he roots for the Indians - Except when they play the Yankees. SO WHAT - He can root for whoever he wants. He has done so much good for this area (really - how many Cavs fans were there before he joined the team?), the Cavaliers, his home town and community - He is very devoted to charity work and helping others. If he wants to were a Yankees hat - LET HIM!! All of these people sound like a bunch school kids on the playground - "Well I don't like Suzie any more, because she likes Tammy and I don't, so I can't pay with her any more" - OH GROW UP!!! That's all the time I have - GO TRIBE - GO CAVS - and GO LeBRON!!!

Lebron has the right to his own opinions and loyalties but next time keep he should just keep them to himself. And for he and his "branding expert" buddies over at LRMR Marketing - HORRIBLE PR move. Yes, Lebron’s actions have his name in EVERY news media outlet. So ok creative publicity, but creating such ANNIMOSITY by DISAPOINTING such loyal Tribe AND Cavs fans - BAD MOVE. Lebron is a public figure and needs to understand that he has to think before he speaks.

I agree with the one comment that was made at 1:19pm. I think it's fine for LeBron to root for whatever team he wants, but as an icon and a professional athlete of Cleveland, it was in very poor taste for him to wear the hat. It was almost like he was pissing on the city, especially those who support both the Cavs and the Indians. I'm slightly disgusted honestly, but hopefully he'll make better judgement next time.

I think it is ok for Lebron to sport the Yankees hat. Just like anyone else, he is a sports fan. He can cheer for whoever he likes. Just because he is from the Cleveland area, doesn't mean has to cheer that way. It is great to see him try to be a normal sports fan, but you people make that hard. Leave him alone. However, I still say GO TRIBE!!!

While I do believe that everyone is entitled to back whatever team they like, I do think it a bit tacky that Lebron would wear the hat in our stadium, whether he is a lifelong fan of the yanks or not. Cleveland fans pretty much are responsible for his salary. He could have stayed home and rooted for the yanks there and wore whatever he wanted without rubbing anyone the wrong way. About our fans being rude, excuse me, but I have attended several games in New York, and they were worse. GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on people grow up, i see lots of people in the area that don't root for the browns or indians, what makes lebron any different than anyone else, what about the people who wear stealers jersey's to browns games!! same thing, except lebron gets on national tv becausue of it, and he is an american and has the right to choose his own team! and for the guy who was spit upon, i feel for you, you should have reported it and got them thrown out, you have the right to watch a game, but not all indians fans are that ignorant!

Anonymous from the Bronx expressed his point of view with the diplomacy and class that we have come to expect of native New Yorkers.

Boston fans don't like it that Tom Brady wears a Yankees cap. It's a natural fan reaction, as is ours to LeBron.

It is unfortunate that you are living in a city that makes you so uncomfortable. If I felt that way, I would leave.

Fabulous game Tribe!!!!

LeBron, you have a conflict. However, you aren't in a position of anonymity like the average fan. It's the price you pay for fame. You could give up the fame, cheer for whomever you chose and no one would care. But if you wish to keep the fame, then you have to be a diplomat. This would entail private, not public, cheering for an opponent of Ohio.

I totally support the Tribe, my heros.

Honestly, some of you infantile hypocrites should look in the mirror and be disgusted with what you see! This is a FREE COUNTRY (more or less), and LeBron can root for whomever he wishes. He's been a NY Yankees fan ALL OF HIS LIFE, and frankly, there are LEGIONS of non-New Yorkers who love and root for the best baseball team in HISTORY. Just like there are legions of Tribe fans throughout the world! To those of you who are 'making a mountain out of a molehill', I say GET A CLUE and A LIFE!

I can't believe that people are making such a fuss over this and don't have anything better to worry about. He is entitled to cheer on any team he wishes. I live in Canton and am a Yankees fan. Go Yankees!

LET LEBRON CHEER FOR WHOMEVER HE WISHES. HE IS A GROWN MAN THAT CAN MAKE HIS OWN DECISOINS. It does not mean he doesnt like Cleveland.
I think someone paid the Yankess to lose anyway. LMAO
We all know that any sport in Cleveland sucks anyway. boo hoo
And yes, I am from this crappy state.

It just shows his (LeBron's) immaturity. And we are Cavs season ticket holders, but have higher regard for other players of the Cav's team. Since, it's Cleveland, then we all need to stand behind Cleveland, no matter what the team. There's a "diplomatic" way to handle "a favorite other" team.

As a native Clevelander, I am very proud that our teams have had a great year. Go Tribe!

With that said, Lebron James, has a right to cheer for any team that he chooses. He may play for our hometown team, but it is his right. I think he is showing loyalty and pride. He has been a fan of the Yankees since childhood which is much more than the fair weather fans here.

I am a die hard Steelers Fan even though I was born and raised in the Cleveland area. Always have been, always will be. Of course, it is great to support a team while they are playing well, but you must take the good with the bad. Last year, we went to the Steelers/Browns game in Cleveland. I had beer thrown at me, children yelling profanity at us and vendors who refused to serve us because we were wearing Steelers jerseys. Again, so much embarrassment.

Shame on Cleveland for being poor losers and winners. There is no reason to spit on people, curse at people and embarrass your city like that. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I would expect that when traveling to NYC to watch the Tribe, to receive the same the Yankees.

Be proud to be a Clevelander no matter what team you are cheering for. When you are at the games, be the better person and let the comments go. There is no need to shout and throw items, you just make yourselves look like idiots.

Hey...we all have our favorite teams and they may not be the local ones. But we are not well-known athletes and people don't pay to see us. Great PR job for Cleveland LeBron. You couldn't just come to the game and wear normal clothes? These Clevelanders are the ones that support you! I think you need to get a new publicist. And, look up the meaning of loyalty and appreciation because you expect it from your fans. Try showing our home town team some respect!

Ok, the bb star is young and doesn't know he can cheer for both the team of his youth and the team of his here and now. A great group of atheletes!!! Go Tribe!!

His youth didn't give him a chance to learn that the "rich yankees" are owned by a "rich man", who took the deal made by our congressman and took the Lorain shipyard and those dollars to Florida shipyard. Lorain still sees greeen in envy for those stolen jobs.

Shame on Lebron for disrespecting our home field by wearing a yankees cap. Even Queen Latifa said it was disrespectful , and she wouldn't wear a nyhat tonight to throw out the ceremonial first pitch......She obviously has more class.Maybe The King needs to come down off his royal perch.

okay....this has gone on far enough....everybody has the right to chose who they root for, regardless of where they live or what team you play for. Lebron is and was a known yankees fan. i myself am a yankees fan and while upset about the loss, i can only hope that they will bounce back and take the series. If not, oh well...better luck next year. I'm tired of all this trash talk about who cant be a fan for what team. I like the yankees and i dont live in new york, and I never have. Does that mean i shouldnt be a fan? Baseball is a sport, it is menat to be entertaining to those who watch it and fun for those who play it. Maybe some players have lost the fun because of money, but we should just be entertained. Lets just give eachother some respect. Alot of friends don't like the Yankees and occasionally give me some gruff about liking them, but who doesn't crack a joke every now and again. Everyone just needs to calm down and take it for what it is.....ENTERTAINMENT

Lebron has a right to watch the game anywhere he chooses and root for whatever team he wants to. This is a free country remember and it doesn't make him any less of a person! Furthermore it doesn't make him any less of a Cleveland Cavalier!! We love Lebron for what he brings to Basketball not Baseball.... Grow up people

I believe it is in bad taste that Lebron wore a Yanks cap to the Jake. Root for whomever you want when tour home team isn;t playing them. I have family that live in other states and root for their new team unless they play their home team, the Indians! That is real sportmanship.
How would Lebron feel if one of his friends from the Indians would come to one of his games rooting for the other team and showing pride in it?
Clevelanders are extremely supportive and take great pride in their teams. We deserve more respect than what was given. He yet again proves that he is not the best role model for our children. The Indians rooted for him when he was going for a pendant why cac't he do the same? Low class, better yet no class.

Who Cares? Big Deal! Lebron is a Yankee fan. Nobody would have know if the TV had not zeroed in on him. Why??? because he was drowned about by the sea of red at the Jake. Keep up the good work tribe fans. http://www.itstribetimenow.com

LeBron can park his Yankee hat in the closet where it belongs after one more Tribe win. Maybe he has a special case for it in his $12 Million house. I wonder if he would like to put the hat beside his MVP trophy?

Hey, Seger had it right in the interview: LeBron are you a front runner?

I GOT AN IDEA....... HOW ABOUT ALL CLEVELANDERS TAKE THE FOCUS OFF OF LEBRON AND BE HAPPY THAT OUR INDIANS ARE PUTTING THE BIGGEST WHOOPING ON THE YANKEES!!!! ONE MORE WIN! ONE MORE WIN! THE INDIANS ARE WHERE IT'S AT!!!!! GO INDIANS! ONE MORE WIN! ONE MORE WIN!!!!! WHO CARES WHAT ANYONE THINKS ABOUT OUR CITY AND OUR FANS, PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE, EVERY CITY HAS THEM!!!!!GOOD - BAD THERE EVERYWHERE.... ENJOY THE INDIANS IN OCTOBER! BE THANKFUL FOR PLAYOFF BASEBALL!!

The Indians have had a great season and a wonderful series, so far, against the dreaded Yankees. What infuriates me is the treatment the Indians in general, and their best players in particular, get from the national media.

Victor Martinez has been the best hitting catcher in baseball for the last 3 years. No one nationally talks about that. Fausto Carmona overcame a horrible 2006 to become a top of the game pitcher in 2007, winning 19 games. No one mentions that--rather they focus on a supposed lack of confidence of a young pitcher in the playoffs--will they fess up to their mistake now?

And that takes me to the other issue--WTBS should NEVER be allowed to broadcast baseball playoff games. They are not prepared--the announcers don;t know the players or anything about the dynamics of the teams.

Furthermore, WTBS's broadcasts lack the punch--the picture and sound suck.

GO TRIBE!!!

Go back to New York and take Lebron with you. How stupid could you be Lebron? To bite the hand that feeds you. People from the Cleveland area are great fans and support their teams so much. Have we forgotten when Art pulled the Browns? Well we all know what happend then. I think people shouldn't support Lebron anymore,What a kick in the teeth for Cleveland. With Lebron being on poster's all over the city...Get real. Where did you come from???????Maybe you forgot.

Cleveland fans are tough and you should expect some backlash when wearing the opposing teams gear in a playoff game where all the excitement is heightend and your in the wrong stadium...We met people from out of town this summer at a game and talked the whole time, Even told them to stay for our wonderful fireworks which they did and they thanked us for it.So it must just be you with that fine attitude you have. Not.If you don't like Cleveland then MOVE......

There are fans everywhere who always show a lot of class. And there are also so called fans who are disrespectful as well. And that is everywhere. I have seen a major league game in 36 different venues and have seen it and heard it everywhere. Nobody should ever be booed and the chant of ____ sucks should never be heard. If every fan everywhere showed eachother mutual respect you'd be surprised at how well you'd enjoy the game. I sat next to Yankee fans at both games and as we were personable to them they were to us as well. Don't pass judgement on true fans everywhere for the minority of trash talkers.

Just because LeBron can play basketball doesn't mean he has manners or intelligence. He's just some guy who was blessed in the physical department. Of course he doesn't understand how ignorant he made himself look...he's been treated like a "king" since high school and hasn't had to suffer the consequences of bad choices. Blame all of the adults who have told him that everything he says and does is wonderful!!!
