C'mon, Miami on Monday night football and the Browns not appearing in one nationally televised game. I know the sports world hates Cleveland for some unknown reason but this, is about as low as the league can get. I realize they have not been stellar since returning in '99 (not counting '94) but isn't it time to do a little reshuffling by the league. Where are the networks on this? Or must they always placate to the big market cities? Brown's have earned it. It was just stated on one of the Cleveland networks the Browns were considered the most fun team to watch by NFL fans this season. PUT UP OR SHUT UP! I have watched the Brownies since 1964 and not BlowDell, Losing the team, handing the expansion team over to Blowdell's partner in crime A. Wormer or Count 'em "7" seasons of horrible football has not dissuaded me from my love of the Browns.

We need to showcase our Cleveland Browns and our 7-4 record. Maybe the last home game of the year, when they can either clinch a playoff berth, or after they already have clinched. And why should 0-11 Miami have a Monday night game and the Browns, who have won 7 more games, not have a game showing in primetime ? Can't figure that out !

I thought the idea behind the "Flex" Schedule was to broadcast Exciting games that meant something NOT the New England Network. Your Dropping the Ball NBC! The Browns are playing Exciting Football and in a division chase. Last time I checked the "SAD" Eagles had won only 5 games and out of contention! The Browns & Texans game was way more intertaining than that crappy bore FEST!

I would say so, especially when a team that has not won a freaking game all year is on national TV, as in the Miami Dolphins...ridiculous...Cleveland always gets the national "shaft"..

I realize the NFL contracts about 30% of the televised game schedule before the regular season begins, but, hey! things change, and it is the Browns turn to be showcased. It is about time that Cleveland was given better respect. I am so tired of the Browns being put down by sports announcers that I turn on our local radio station WMMS and mute the TV so I don't have to hear any more insults.

Cleveland has had a raw deal and never gets recognized in NFL. Why shouldn't this team get some national exposure? Why not even in the city of Cleveland?

Sooner or later the Browns will be a good Superbowl contender. The time will come sooner than most people think. In the meantime, how about some credit where credit is due?

4:22 PM

Yes, considering what we have had to watch on Sunday Night. the Browns are much more entertaining than most of the Sunday night games we have seen so far. And make it a home game, with our devoted fans can't get more entertaining than that.

CBS coverage has been terrible and no HD...your station in Cleveland is the best at HD and they do a hell of a job with Browns Pre-season.

If you were grading purely on performance of the Browns and whether or not they have earned the right to a Sunday night football game, I would have to say the Browns probably have earned that right. The games are generally tight down to the wire, so the excitement level is there. Plus, we have a winning record.

But one thing to take into consideration is the fact that the Cleveland Browns have one of the, if not THE, largest backer organizations throughout the world. I would believe ratings would be strong on that fact alone. Go ahead and add in a strong division rival such as Pittsburgh and you have TV gold ladies and gentlemen. Make is a game late in the season so snow could be entered in and you have yourself a classic game waiting to happen.

Go Browns.

You would think those folks who decide on games to air for SNF would have enough sense to take advantage of airing an exiciting up and coming team like the Browns without having to get their collective attention. But they will give us the 0-11 Dolphins to watch!!! Come on who ever you people are, wake up, people who like football will watch a good competitive game, regardless of who's playing. This is the NFL, not the New England Patriots. The Browns are playing like the best team in the league... aside from Indy and Philly, we've given the Pats the next-best challenge. We have exciting players and are fun to watch. Simply put, the Cleveland Browns=ratings! Storylines and hype pretty much write themselves for most of these games down the stretch. The Bills are another exciting team to clash with. The "Battle of Ohio."
How about Mangini vs. Crennel? If Miami can play on Monday and the .500 Eagles get flex, the Browns can sure as well play the Jets, who recently beat the Steelers. An argument can easily be made for each game on the Browns schedule to be a potential game of the week. The NFL needs to take notice and start giving exciting and deserving teams their due. National exposure is good for everyone.

I was unfortunate enough to go to the Falcons/Bears Sunday night game a couple years ago in Chicago in December.

Below freezing temps made for the worst football experience in my life! There was no coffee or hot chocolate to be had. My beer froze leaving a thick layer of ice on top.

The Browns do deserve to be on Sunday night, but make it one of the away games. A Sunday night in Cleveland could be just like that game in Chicago.

Believe me, no one would want to sit through those conditions.

Under the rules, NBC/NFL can't move games without a 12 day notice, nor can they move something in week 16 which is Christmas week.

From a Browns perspective, that means that the games vs. the Bills and 49ers are the only ones they can consider. I would much rather be going to the game if it was a 1PM start time, not a 8PM start time. So, my vote is no, I dont want to see either of those games moved.
