I think the Browns should have a monday night game at home! Cleveland deserves it!
Yes! I'm sick of seeing the Patriots on every primetime game.
Yes the browns deserve to have a primetime game and not only a primetime game, a primetime game at home HOME GAME HOME GAME
Yes the Browns deserve a primetime game and not one on the road HOME GAME HOME GAME
The browns are well deserving of a national platform to display there talent. Please show me a younger team with more heart than this one.
C'mon, Miami on Monday night football and the Browns not appearing in one nationally televised game. I know the sports world hates Cleveland for some unknown reason but this, is about as low as the league can get. I realize they have not been stellar since returning in '99 (not counting '94) but isn't it time to do a little reshuffling by the league. Where are the networks on this? Or must they always placate to the big market cities? Brown's have earned it. It was just stated on one of the Cleveland networks the Browns were considered the most fun team to watch by NFL fans this season. PUT UP OR SHUT UP! I have watched the Brownies since 1964 and not BlowDell, Losing the team, handing the expansion team over to Blowdell's partner in crime A. Wormer or Count 'em "7" seasons of horrible football has not dissuaded me from my love of the Browns.
the cleveland browns and the city of cleveland should be given a chance to show the rest of the country what we see every week a pro team coming of age and a real playoff contender . Also deepest sympathy to the family of sean taylor
Don't you mean Monday night?
The Browns have definitely shown improvement and deserve to be on Sunday Night Football in America - perhaps vs the Bengals.
The Browns have definitely earned a spot on Sunday Night Foorball in America - perhaps vs the Bengals
The most exciting team for the 2007
Season, why shoouldn't they be on Sunday Nite this year.
Yes... If Miami can play Monday night with "NO" wins I can't see how Cleveland can't play on a Sunday night...
We should have a game on Sunday night. Cleveland deserves it. Tired of the Patriots.
Yeah! I agree Cleveland has earned the right to be primetime. The Browns should also play at home... against the STEELERS! So PITTSBURGH can beat them (again)on national television.
WHOOOOOO. Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!
The Browns one of the most popular teams in the league (as far as Browns Backer groups)They more than deserve to be on Sunday Night Football. We know the Patriots are very good, we know the Dolphins are terrible. Lets see the Browns play on sun. night I think they more than deserve the opportunity. GO BROWNS!!!!!!
Cleveland deserves a Monday Night and a Sunday night game! Sick of seeing the same teams on primetime tv!
The browns are well deserving of a national platform to display there talent. Please show me a younger team with more heart than this one.
We need to showcase our Cleveland Browns and our 7-4 record. Maybe the last home game of the year, when they can either clinch a playoff berth, or after they already have clinched. And why should 0-11 Miami have a Monday night game and the Browns, who have won 7 more games, not have a game showing in primetime ? Can't figure that out !
YES!!! The Browns should have a Sunday night game this season! Cincinatti, Baltimore, and the Jets...all teams with worse records have Sunday night games...why don't the Browns?
I think the Browns have earned a shot at being on NBC Sunday Night Football. I think the perfect night would be the Home game against the Buffalo Bills. I'm tired of seeing Pucksburgh, New England, and Indianapolis.
Cleveland is long overdue for a primetime seat. NFL fans accross the nation need to see that we have a very talented and competitive team. The Browns and their fans deserve it.
Cleveland has earned a spoton Sunday Night Football- record of 7-4. there's plenty of sunday's to spread the "wealth" among all the teams!!!
Liz in Grafton, OHio
Absolutely! I'm tired of seeing New England, Indy and Pitt -- let's give some love to the 7-4 Browns!
THE BROWNS ARE ONE OF THE BEST STORIES IN THE NFL TODAY, THEY DESERVE A SPOT ON THE SUNDAY NIGHT GAME..
Yes we need to be on there ASAP...and it needs to be a home game
Yes the Browns should have a Sunday night game and a Monday night game. I too am tired of the same old teams. Need to add some fun and excitement to prime time football games.
No one wants to watch New England on Sunday night anymore. Give America a chance to watch the Browns on primetime!!!
Why not, we conducted ourselves very well at our last Monday night outing. Maybe we can repeat.....
Lets do it
We definitely have the reecord to deserve a Sunday night football game
Hey wht not. No worse than the Mud Bowl we just saw.
Give the Browns a chance!!! Believe it or not you will get ratings!
It has been a heck of a year for Cleveland sports. They deserve this. And the announcers need to give this team some respect. (unlike how the Indians and Cavs were treated by the game announcers)
Mantua Browns Backers says YES!!! Monday Night Football has become like a re-run of a mediocre sitcom spitting out the same match-ups year after year after year. It's Cleveland's turn to shine. The Brown's organization deserves this, the city of Cleveland deserves this, and the multitude of Cleveland Browns fans all over the country deserve this. GO BROWNS!
Hell yea! Browns have long waited and are the most deserving!!!!!
YES the Browns deserve a Sunday Night Football game. The national media needs to step up and recognize the great things going in with this franchise. It would be great for The Cleveland Browns to have a chance to show the country the talent we have.
YES the Browns deserve a Sunday Night Football game. The national media needs to step up and recognize the great things going in with this franchise. It would be great for The Cleveland Browns to have a chance to show the country the talent we have.
I agree! The Brown's deserve it! GO BROWNS!
Why is this even a question? The Browns deserve a primetime spot...AT HOME! I think Browns have proven themselves worthy of this!
www.clevelandbrownsbus.com
Go Browns! Best show in this or any other town consistently. Please show the country on Sunday Football Nite in America!
Answer this simple question: Why wouldn’t you choose the Browns for a Sunday Night game? We have the largest fan base in all of NFL!!! Don’t you want more viewers which equate to more money for you!! Pretty simple.. (To validate this check out www.clevelandbrowns.com and look at the browns backers link!!)
Tony Neuhoff from Cleveland (just one of the thousands fans!!!)
We need this! We deserve this! Go Browns!!!!!!
NO WAY!!! Are you kidding me??? The Browns are a terrible team (regardless of their record) that people outside of Ohio don't care about it.
It's all about ratings, and since the only people that will watch a Browns game are a few thousand fat, Midwestern hillbillies, the NFL and NBC should pass.
I agree with the Patriots comment, but add Indianapolis to it.
Put the Brownies on Sunday and Monday both.
WHY NOT, ITS ABOUT TIME.
WHY NOT
The networks have chosen to air Cincinnati, Arizona, New Orleans, Chicago, Atlanta, and San Fransisco [3 times] in the primetime games this season. Buffalo at Cleveland certainly deserves to be considered for this kind of spotlight.
I thought the idea behind the "Flex" Schedule was to broadcast Exciting games that meant something NOT the New England Network. Your Dropping the Ball NBC! The Browns are playing Exciting Football and in a division chase. Last time I checked the "SAD" Eagles had won only 5 games and out of contention! The Browns & Texans game was way more intertaining than that crappy bore FEST!
Yes the Browns deserve a Sunday night, Id like to see them on Monday night football. Its been a long time since Cleveland has had a Monday night game. GO BROWNS take us there this year. I love the Browns I moved to New Olreans in March this year and got direct TV so I could have my football games.
Browns need a night game!! please! Either snf, or mnf!
And let it be home!!
Yes! Ideal Scenario: We need the Browns to win the next 2 (9-4), then Buffalo to win the next 2 (7-6). Then, the Sunday HOME Game vs. Buffalo should be shown!!
The most exciting team for the 2007
Season, why shoouldn't they be on Sunday Nite this year
Yes Sunday night browns game. We deserve it. and how about packers cowboys only on the NFL network. I can't even get the network. BS
Sunday night. The Browns are working hard and effectively. YES! - AT HOME! - AND HONEST REF CALLS! I am really getting tired of the Patriots every Sunday night. Actually, if the Patriots are playing, I don't watch the game.
I would say so, especially when a team that has not won a freaking game all year is on national TV, as in the Miami Dolphins...ridiculous...Cleveland always gets the national "shaft"..
The Browns should absolutely not be on a Sunday or Monday night game. Leave that to the real teams like the Steelers or the Pats. The Browns are a joke and thinking they are better than they really are is even funnier - thanks for the laugh!!! GO STEELERS!!!!
The Browns are playing at a very high level right now. They are the feel good, surprise story of the NFL and the rest of the country needs to know it. Let's put some orange back into primetime!!
The Browns absolutely deserve a Sunday night HOME game! I'm sick of seeing the Patriots. The only ones that actually watch the Pat's games are their own fans and the old Dolphins players.
This city and team deserves the primetime spotlight!
It's overdue! Sunday Night or Monday Night! How bad could it be that the worst team in the NFL gets a Monday Night scheudle and we don't? Networks, it's about time. Yes, I love Brady, Favre, and Manning but I think I've seen enough of time during primetime
I am sick and tired of the national media trash talking Cleveland teams and glorifying teams like the Patriots, Colts, etc. If this keeps up I for one am going to stop watching sports on national TV. Just wait till Cleveland wins the SuperBowl AND the World Series AND the NBA Championship! Then you will have to eat "crow" and a lot of it!
I definitely agree that the Browns deserve a Sunday or Monday night game! I am so sick of seeing the flippin Steelers get all the games. And they stink this year. They only posted 3 points against a no win team!
With their schedule? No. The Browns may be interesting to watch, but no one else on their schedule trips my trigger.
The Browns have given fans the most exciting games in years, it's time to show it off to the nation!
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS MY BROWNIES ON SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL IN 2008!!!!!! LUV YA NBC!!!! YOUR THE BEST!!!! CAN I GET YA ANYTHING!!!!
I can't think of a logical reason why they have been picked over to begin with. I realize the NFL contracts about 30% of the televised game schedule before the regular season begins, but, hey! things change, and it is the Browns turn to be showcased. I've endurred the Cowboy, Steelers, and 49er's TV era ... it's about time we enter the Browns Era !!! Go Browns.
The Browns deserve their time on Sunday Night Football. Give the Browns a chance ...........
Yes! The Browns deserve a HOME Primetime game in 2008. We have a good, young and exciting team.
It is about time that Cleveland was given better respect. I am so tired of the Browns being put down by sports announcers that I turn on our local radio station WMMS and mute the TV so I don't have to hear any more insults.
Cleveland has had a raw deal and never gets recognized in NFL. Why shouldn't this team get some national exposure? Why not even in the city of Cleveland?
Sooner or later the Browns will be a good Superbowl contender. The time will come sooner than most people think. In the meantime, how about some credit where credit is due?
Yes, considering what we have had to watch on Sunday Night. the Browns are much more entertaining than most of the Sunday night games we have seen so far. And make it a home game, with our devoted fans can't get more entertaining than that.
Sure let the Browns embarrass themselves on National TV. They will just choke like every Ohio team. (Ohio State, Cavs, Indians).
Its all about ratings! The Browns cant even sell out their home games. Half of Cleveland cant even name their quaterback.
YES YES YES It is well DESERVED! Stacy
What a way to show off Cleveland, show pathetic drunk fans in the dog pound.
Hey NBC...the Browns are the right team for Sunday night 12/23...the Browns vs the Bengals...huge game that will get the ratings and make everyone's Christmas special. CBS coverage has been terrible and no HD...your station in Cleveland is the best at HD and they do a hell of a job with Browns Pre-season.
If you were grading purely on performance of the Browns and whether or not they have earned the right to a Sunday night football game, I would have to say the Browns probably have earned that right. The games are generally tight down to the wire, so the excitement level is there. Plus, we have a winning record.
But one thing to take into consideration is the fact that the Cleveland Browns have one of the, if not THE, largest backer organizations throughout the world. I would believe ratings would be strong on that fact alone. Go ahead and add in a strong division rival such as Pittsburgh and you have TV gold ladies and gentlemen. Make is a game late in the season so snow could be entered in and you have yourself a classic game waiting to happen.
Go Browns.
Yes, they should be on Sunday night football and make it a home game. Stop ignoring Cleveland! They have worked hard this season.
A team that is exciting to watch- a nationwide fan base- advertisers like this
The Cleveland browns deserve to have a primetime game.
This should go without saying.. the Browns are one of the best teams in the NFL this season, and deserve a primetime game.. Cleveland fans have been forced to deal with the constant overlooking of the NFL. Despite having one of the best records in the NFL we can barely get a game on HD let alone primetime... it's time the NFL showcased it's best on the national stage!
You would think those folks who decide on games to air for SNF would have enough sense to take advantage of airing an exiciting up and coming team like the Browns without having to get their collective attention. But they will give us the 0-11 Dolphins to watch!!! Come on who ever you people are, wake up, people who like football will watch a good competitive game, regardless of who's playing. GO BROWNS !!!!!
I'm from Pittsburgh and a die hard Steeler fan. However, yins have certainly earned the right to play Sunday night. Yins have had a great season and show great promise. Can't wait to beat you again in the playoffs.
I think the Browns should play in Sunday Night Football because it seems all of the other years we had we never got any credit. Now the Browns are showing us what a real footabll team is and I think we should definatly play in SNF we deserve it!!!!
You bet they deserve to be on Sunday night, even Monday night.
Both at home would be even better.
The Cleveland Browns should play against the Steelers so we could KILL them in a primetime game
The Browns are finally a competitive team that is fun to watch. We have earned the right for prime time viewing. If the TV schedule could be changed in the middle of the season - that would be terrific! Otherwise, it will be another...wait until next year.
Regardless - GO BROWNS!
If it's not broken don't fix it. Let them earn the right by continuing to win and those things will all take care of themselves. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see my Brownies in primetime but patience is a virtue and so is being a Browns fan.
- Nick from Liberty Twp.
Come on NBC - Give us a break - we have a great team - and many many many great fans across the nation who should have a chance to watch our Brownies for once!
America needs to see America's most exciting team.
I have been a Cleveland sports fan ALL my life ! And Cleveland teams NEVER get a break when it comes to Prime Time TV. The Browns should be on Sunday Night and Monday Night at HOME.
Cleveland Fans are the BEST fans in all Sports Win or Lose !!
"GO BROWNS CAVS AND INDIANS"
*Cleveland Sports FAN 4 LIFE!
I also agree that the browns should have a sunday night game!....teams that are having a less than stellar season are always on there!...we deserve it more than they do!....
This is long over due.... Why now all of a sudden? Beacause we are winning a few games? I dont care what night or station it is on as long as we can watch the game. NO MORE BLACKOUTS should be the petition!
OH! YES;
Absolutely!
The way the team is coming together, its very "EXCITING"!
lorain fan.
This is the NFL, not the New England Patriots. The Browns are playing like the best team in the league... aside from Indy and Philly, we've given the Pats the next-best challenge. We have exciting players and are fun to watch. Simply put, the Cleveland Browns=ratings! Storylines and hype pretty much write themselves for most of these games down the stretch. The Bills are another exciting team to clash with. The "Battle of Ohio."
How about Mangini vs. Crennel? If Miami can play on Monday and the .500 Eagles get flex, the Browns can sure as well play the Jets, who recently beat the Steelers. An argument can easily be made for each game on the Browns schedule to be a potential game of the week. The NFL needs to take notice and start giving exciting and deserving teams their due. National exposure is good for everyone.
Cinderella story of the year... Superbowl!!!
Hoof Hoof Hoof Hoof
Love
Cap'n Sandwich
go browns they have earned it we r the most improved team in the nfl bar none
This is the best Cleveland Browns team we have had in years .Show us some respect and allow the nation to watch us on prime time T.V.
the cleveland browns are better than half the teams in the leage!they deserve not only to play on sundy nights, but monday nights well!!!!
Yes! Its about time that the country gets a look at this team. Its about time Cleveland gets some recognition.
come on,. finally throw cleveland a bone .let em play.too bad we dont play anyone good
Only if it is an away game!
I was unfortunate enough to go to the Falcons/Bears Sunday night game a couple years ago in Chicago in December.
Below freezing temps made for the worst football experience in my life! There was no coffee or hot chocolate to be had. My beer froze leaving a thick layer of ice on top.
The Browns do deserve to be on Sunday night, but make it one of the away games. A Sunday night in Cleveland could be just like that game in Chicago.
Believe me, no one would want to sit through those conditions.
...especially me!
-Aurora Guy
Yes, I think the Browns should be on Sunday Night Football. In fact, they are playing well enough to be on Monday Night Football.
A Browns Backer from Lorain
For a multitude of reasons, many people are not able to attend the Browns Games. This is our "home team" and they're having a dynamic year. I totally support being able to watch them at home and never did understand why we can't do that!
Im sick of seeing the same teams on primetime every year, its just a popularity contest. The browns are a potential platoff team and they deserve to get some recognition,it should also be a home game so the country could see who the best fans in the nation are.
The City of Cleveland always gets knocked around by the media, along with the Browns.
Give our team at least EQUAL TIME!
Its sad that we have come to this. Begging to be recognized for the great sports teams we have here in Cleveland. The Browns have more the proven they deserve to be on SNF or MNF! Even with the Cavs and Indians doing great, the sports world plays it off as the other teams are doing poorly instead of Cleveland teams simply playing better then their opponents. ITS TIME TO MAKE SOME CHANGES!
Come on, now. Let's "get with the program". The Browns need to know that they have fans who'd like to watch the entire game in spite of the fact that they can't afford a ticket. Moral support is something that can't be bought, you know?
d.a and the brows deserve to be on primetim tv we have to show the country who well go to the playoff and win the su
Absolutely! It's time to show off our Browns and our city. Put a home game in prime time.
Not a home game! I like the current start times just the way they are.
An away game, yes. The Browns deserve it!
YES! YES! YES! If anyone is deserving of a primetime game, it is OUR BROWNIES!!!! Im sick of Cleveland ALWAYS getting the short end of the stick!!! Cleveland has come a long way and is a superb contender and I think they are deserving of a primetime spot!!!!! AT HOME WOULD BE EVEN BETTER!!!!
Kudos to NBC's Football Night in America for having the 'flex game' rule. Problem is, they picked N.E./Buffalo a couple weeks ago and wound up with a 56-10 blow-out. I would think the goal would be to schedule a competitive team. Go Browns!
They have worked hard they deserve a place on a GREAT football night! GIVE IT TO THEM!
Under the rules, NBC/NFL can't move games without a 12 day notice, nor can they move something in week 16 which is Christmas week.
From a Browns perspective, that means that the games vs. the Bills and 49ers are the only ones they can consider. I would much rather be going to the game if it was a 1PM start time, not a 8PM start time. So, my vote is no, I dont want to see either of those games moved.
I want to see my Brownies on Sunday Night, but not this year...
Sure, on a monday night. That way they can embarass themselves and Cleveland all in one shot. Everytime you get your hopes up, they let ya' down. everytime........
Please do not move any of the games. I can not attend the home games if they are not at 1PM due to work considerations.
Bottom line....the Browns are one of the most exciting teams in football and have a huge fan base. Ratings would be huge, how about the Bills game at home? It would be a wild atmosphere and it should be a good battle. Make it happen NBC...the Brownies deserve it!!!
No...Just leave the night games to good teams..Steelers
Of course the Browns should be on Sunday Night Football in America, they have worked hard, overcome a lot of media flak early in the season and still come out each game and do their best. Cleveland fans deserve it and the rest of America needs to see how well they are doing! GO BROWNS!
Go Browns, but no, dont move the games!
Hey NBC, show the Browns some love!!! I would love for John Madden and Al Michaels to broadcast the Cleveland game. I'm tired of hearing about the Patriots.....let's start hearing about the Browns!!! Thanks.
Cleveland is one of the best football towns in America. We have battled back this year and 2008 will be great! Give us a chance to showcase our city, fans and great team!
HEY EVERYONE. THE REASON MIAMI WAS ON IS BECAUSE THEY PLAYED PITTSBURGH WHICH IS IN FIRST PLACE . THAT'S WHY AND IT WAS A MUCH BETTER GAME THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE .
The Browns/Bills game should be a Sunday night game. Browns are heading to the playoffs and nobody gave us a chance. Its time to light up Cleveland and be proud of the Browns! GO BROWNIES!!
Here we go Brownies, here we go! We deserve SNF, with our high powered offense and up and coming defense, we can really put on a show.
yes i think that would be great entertainment and good ratings for nbc. nbc think about the ratings. browns are there until the very end and have won 5 of there last six.
The Cleveland Browns are 7-4!!! We are 5-1 at home. 5 strait at home for the 1st time since 1994. Come on we really deserve a home game on sunday night football. Our fans our team our organization really deserve it after all their hard work to turn this franchise around after a 4-12 season last year.
Hey, anything would be better than that Steeler/Dolphins game!
Please put the Browns on Sunday Night.....thank you
I think NBC would be doing itself a service by putting a Browns game on Sunday Night Football. Preferably a game at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Cleveland has been home to fabulous tradition when it comes to sports and people across the nation will be tuned in to watch the Cinderella story that is the Browns, along the shores of Lake Erie in December. I vote for the 49ers game. Then you have a primetime game with fans from opposite ends of the country investing in their teams!!!! I am confident that next year the Browns will get some TV respect, but why not start now.
Yes.. Go Browns!
yes they should so that we can watch them in South west Florida. i'm tired of the Steelers in Prime time and the pats. it's about time that the Browns get some primetime not just the Cavs and Indians
they will be on on Prime time when they are in the Super Bowl
THE BROWNS ARE AWESOME AND THEY DESERVE TO BE IN PRIMETIME!!!
Browns and Steelers Sunday or Monday Night! It's a sell out! Money well spent.
Yes, they should have a nationally televised game on Monday night. To all the Stoolers fans posting comments on here, run along children and find somewhere else to play. Go on, run along, Dick's is having a sale on Porter jerseys.
Do they deserve it? Heck yah! They are the most exciting team to watch in the NFL...But we shouldn't move one from this season..the spirit of flexible scheduling is to start showing the most meaninful and exciting games around the league. With the schedule the Browns have left, they should walk in to the playoffs. Depending on the status on PittsPuke torwards the end of the year and the wild card race, then maybe...but we should easily win 5 of our last 6.
NO!!!! this team is still not good, when they start winning against teams that have a winning record then maybe, but most of the teams they have played that they won against were terrible teams like miami & the rams to name a few ;)
Bring it to Cleveland
It has been way too long since anybody has taken the Browns seriously on television. The networks don't know what they are missing. There are Browns fans around the country not just in Cleveland.
Frank in Akron...the Browns could finish the season with one of the better records in the NFL. They are for real. Put them on National TV.
Yes! It's about time the Browns had a HOME GAME on Sunday Night Football. Then I would have a game to watch instead of the "Cowgirls". I enjoy the fact that as Cleveland's record improves, Dallas's draft pick gets worse! GO BROWNS!!!
Flex schedule the Browns/Bengals game to Sunday night!
Ok...here it goes...The Cleveland Browns are the most surprissing team in the NFL. I dont want to hear anything about the Pakers b/c they went 8-8 last year we went 4-12. we are now 7-4. The Browns have on of the most exciting Offenses and Special Teams in the NFL. Viewers love to watch that kind of football. Plus last year Nfl said that the point of Flex games were so surprise teams could play their way onto primetime. I would say the Browns are a pretty big suprise tem this year! That is my arguement. Hopefully NBC will make the right choice!
Yes, they deserve a SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PRIME TIME GAME!
The season they've been having heck yeah!!!!
Yes Browns Rule!
Go Browns! We are way overdue for a little recognition & some national respect! This team deserves a prime time game & for it to be at home in Cleveland! We are the best fans in football for the best team in football! We might not have a Super Bowl ring, but this team, this city & these fans have a heart of gold & we wear it on our sleeve! It's time for the Cleveland Browns to be treated like the winners they are! I am proud to be a Cleveland Browns fan, always have been, always will be!
Go Dawgs!
Jeannine!
YES the Browns should have a Sunday night game at home. That would be the best thing ever!!!! GO BROWNS
Are you serious?? I'm in the Navy and have not been able to see a Browns game since that last Championship game loss to Denver. I was at sea on a submarine when my Captain personally informed me about the move but...even though I refused to watch an NFL game until they came back...I never lost my love for my Brownies!!!
They're the surprise team of the year...how can you not show a game???
Yessssssss!!! THere might not be a more exciting team in the NFL. We throw the ball all over the field, we run the ball with authority and we play sub-par defense so you know that the game will be entertaining. And if for no other reason, we, the people of cleveland, need this!!!
Cleveland who?
GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to put the Browns on National Television they deserve it. Outside of the Patriots they are the most exciting team out there. Let the nation see what they have been missing.
No thanks thats when all the jacka$$ fans show up and say they are fans? Let the regular season ticket holders enjoy the game and not bring out the fools that show up for the games on national television!!!!
Put the browns on sunday night football!!!!
Put the browns on Sunday night football!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHOW THE BROWNS VS. BILLS GAME ON SUNDAY NIGHT
NoDNoJ here and I say if it's not too late to juggle the Sunday schedule let's do the Browns and Bengals under the national lights. That 1st game between them was a rock'em sock'em affair and the Battle of Ohio is OOONNN!!!
The city of Cleveland deserves the chance to dispell the myth that Cleveland teams are cursed! A spot on Sunday night football is the perfect venue. Come on NBC, Give the Browns a chance!
YES, WE SHOULD BE ON PRIMETIME, THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING VERY HARD TO GET BACK WHERE THEY BELONG. LET THE OTHER CITIES SEE HOW GREAT WE ARE BECOMING AGAIN.
To the NFL. It was your organization that went along with the greed of Art Model to rob us of a team that NEVER lacked support! We have not only earned prime time games YOU OWE it to the FANS and the new franchise! IT IS THE LEAST YOU CAN DO!
The Browns deserve to have a primetime game. Heck, even the Dolphins got a spot on primetime!
Cleveland deserves a Monday Night and a Sunday night game! Sick of seeing the same teams on primetime tv!
The Browns on Sunday night Football? YES YES YES! GO BROWNS!
I would rather have the day games,I can't stay awake that late anymore.
Not a chance! A poor 7-4 record, moreover you have had 38 years to make it to the big dance and failed! Other teams pay big money for big talent and produce winning seasons...try it for a change!
YES, GIVE THE BROWNS A CHANCE. WE ARE WORTH BEING ON SUNDAY NITE.
I AM A TRUE BROWNS FAN... AND YES THEY DO . LOOK AT US NOW...KICKIN BUTT AND TAKING NAMES
YES!!! We definitely deserve a shot!
If what BernieRules says is correct, I would not be in favor of a Sunday night game. I have tickets to the Bills game and it would make it very difficult for me to go at night instead of the day.
Thank you and Go Browns,
MikeA
I think the Patriots have had enough Sunday and Monday night games. With the Browns high powered offense it would make for an exciting Sunday/Monday nighter no matter who they play. 7-4 come on show some respect for one of the elite teams in the league!
YES THE BROWNS HAVE EARNED A SUNDAY NITE GAME AND IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE BILLS ON 12/16 AT HOME GO BROWNS THANKS!LIFE LONG FAN DAWG POUND KID.
It would show an un-biased NFL commissioner decision. The Browns deserve a Monday night game and further more... this season if possible. Why can't we move the Bills game to Monday night?
Cinci, Miami, Baltimore, and the Jets...all teams with poor POOR records had prime time games...why don't the Browns?
You have my vote, my brothers, my sister, my 2 daughters & my parents as well!
The Browns can't play on Sunday night, when would the Chowderhead Patriots play then?? And they can't play on Monday, because then I wouldn't be able to see San Francisco vs. Arizona, Seattle vs. New Orleans or Miami for that matter!!
Fact of the matter is, the Browns have the LARGEST fan club in the world, it is in all 50 states except Wyoming and in 46 different countries in the world!!! If ABC had brains in their heads, they would make the Browns the official Monday night team, they would never be lacking viewers then!
Yes the BROWNS deserve a prime time slot after all they have the bigest backers in the world in the NFL
Bob from Medina
Browns deserve a primetime game. Their offense is explosive and they are in the playoff hunt. They deserve it
Can we please get something together too and get the games broadcast in HD?????
I live in Denver and am a huge Browns fan. I'm tired of seeing the same teams on primetime games and would love to watch my Browns. They are moving toward a playoff spot and deserve the chance to play in a big primetime game.
NBC should consider the Browns vs. Bills game for Sunday night, classic AFC battle of two northern Lake Erie teams, they could dub it the battle of Lake Erie - December 16th, it would probably be very well watched in both cities!
YES!! Of course the Browns deserve a Monday night game!! :) GIVE it to em' already!!
Cleveland Browns on Sunday or Thursday Night. It is more that PRIME TIME. Sick of seeing Belichek!
The Browns are well deserving of a spot on primetime, the have worked hard to were they are. Why should the Patriots get all the spot light. We want to see the Browns.
Browns on Sunday night football? if it is due to ratings? Browns Backers do I need to say any more.
Yes - the Browns deserve to have a home game be on Sunday night football considering how they have been playing. NOBODY was giving us a chance this year. But as always they will be snubbed by the NFL.
HELL, YEAH!
CARLA
The Browns def deserve the right to play on Monday Night football!!!!! They have proven that that they are a legitimate team with a lot of heart and they will not give up!!! It has taken them awhile but now they need their due!! LET THEM PLAY!!!!!!!!
The Browns don't even get shown in HD. Get the program. They are beloved and doing well. But let's make sure Miami, New Orleans and any other team doing bad have a Sunday or Monday night game. I realize the schedules are made in advance and no one could know how well or bad a team will be doing. But change the start times of games. Not like it hasn't been done before. Give Cleveland the credit it deserves. Put them on Sunday Night.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! I moved to a southern state that doesn't know a thing about a GREAT FOOTBALL TEAM! I NEED my BROWNS!!!
I REFUSE TO WATCH SUNDAY OR MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAMES UNTIL THE REDAY FOR PRIME TIME BROWNS ARE PLAYING AT HOME....HEIDI V
The nation deserves to see Josh Cribbs, Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow, Joe Thomas, Derrick Anderson, Jamal Lewis, etc....
Absolutely! They deserve it and have really put on a show lately.
It's about time! We are fun to watch, have one of the highest scoring offenses in the league, and have potentially 4-5 pro bowlers this year. How about the battle of Ohio with Cincinnati or the last game vs. San Francisco? This town is ready! GO BROWNS!
heck yeah the browns deserve a sunday and monday night game and it should be a home game! espically since there are so many browns backers clubs across the nation. in fact all teams should get the opportunity, they need to set up a rotation. it's not fair for the pats, for example, to have so many primetime games. not every football fan is a fan of the last superbowl winner.
they finally deserve it after all theses years get them on sunday and even monday night. they have too many stars on the team not too. they have came along way
I AM STEELERS FAN, BUT THE BROWNS HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO PLAY A SUNDAY NIGHT GAME AND/OR A MONDAY NIGHT GAME. I AM SICK OF THE COWBOYS, PATRIOTS AND THE COLTS PLAYING THOSE PRIME TIME GAMES.
Yes the Browns deserve a Sunday night HOME game. It has been a long time since the Browns have been fun to watch and there are Browns fans in every city in the USA. We should have a little of the NFL spotlight in Prime time TV on Sunday Night. BTW, I can't remember the last time we had a MONDAY night game!!
Go Browns!!!!!
8:15 is too late to be starting games on the east coast. People fall asleep by halftime. I want to watch the entire game. No, to Sunday Night for my Browns.
And to those posters who think we are going to get respect by being on Sunday night??? Please...teams only get respect when they win championships. Cities get respect when they raise the quality of life in the city.
WAKE UP PEOPLE, IT'S NOT NBC SPORTS ON WHO MAKES THAT DISION, ITS THE NFL
yes.d.a and the browns deserves to be on Sunday night foot ball the browns have to show the rest of the country who well play in the playoff. GO BROWNS
If the Dolphins can play on Monday night while being God awful then why not the Browns on Sunday night? They have proven they are deserving and have not played in primetime for some years (I believe that was against Baltimore in 2002). LET's GO BROWNS!
Yes!
I second this comment:
The Browns definitely have earned a primetime game and one should be at home!
-Nora in Cleveland
GOOOOOO Browns!
The Browns are deserving a primetime home game. We have been one of the most entertaining teams this year. It's time to reward the best NFL fans in the nation.
My brother & I went to the first Monday Night Football Game in 1969! We saw the Browns and the NY Jets! That's when Joe Nameth had his leg in a cast. We deserve a Sunday Night game! Go Browns!!!
No, absolutely not. Their schedule is weak and every time they go against a decent time (or play on the road) they lose. If they put up decent numbers next year when they have to play a worthy schedule, maybe they'll deserve to be on Sunday or Monday night.
GO STEELERS!!!! I bleed black and gold!!!
yes, the BROWNS SHOULD HAVE MONDAY NIGHT GAME...IF THE DOLPHINS ARE ON THEN THE BROWNS ARE A SHOE IN..
GO BROWNS
I think they deserve a game on Sunday and Monday Night Football as long as the National Media keeps there comments about New England, Dallas, Indianapolis, and Blitzburgh to a minimum and concentrate on Cleveland and the team they are playing. Afterall who started the Monday Night era . GO BROWNS.
iuwrlqpThe BROWNS earned a Sunday schedule change; and make it here at home with the best fans in football. WE are the 2007 Cindella story, as we shake the demons of relocation and knuckleheaded draft picks...
Monday Night 2008 better be a reality! The debut of Brady Quinn, baby!!!
they deserve as much as any other team so put them on
The BROWNS deserve to have primetime game at home.
They are a great young team that needs to be seen on Sunday.
I am so sick of see the pats or the steelers.
look at our record, we well deserve it...finally
Dolphins on Monday Night!! We haven't had a home primetime game in several years for good reasons. This year is different and I thought situations like the Browns was the purpose of Flex Scheduling..
Go Browns
It's about time the city has contending teams it's time to be noticed, sport's in this city is a pleasure to watch again ,we can run the ball control the game, run the clock again.Like everything else it come at a cost, I'm no longer wanting to spend the big buck's to go to the game's like before, it's great to watch at home. The taste is almost coming back to be a die hard again!
Football fans are becoming interested in The Browns after aquiring all of the talent that we have in the past few years. Now all that talent is coming together and exploding. In my mind, we totally deserve a spot on Sunday Night Football DARN NBC!!! Play FAIR!!!
Shouldnt the NFL want to display one of youngest, most exciting teams? This team has superstars in the making that should be put in a national spot light!
It would be awesome to be able to watch the Browns on Sunday and Monday nights. They deserve it!!!
Go Cleveland!!!
Cleveland has earned this!!!
7-4
The best air attack in Cleveland history and on track to be the most prolific scoring offense the team has ever had.
America wants to see a team that can put up numbers especially on sunday night.
We are a great story and blue collar city that bleeds orange and brown.
Here we go brownies, here we go!!!!
The browns have really shown improvement this year! They're kickin ___!!!! Come on now- you know they deserve a spot on Sunday Night Football!!!! Let's keep it real- they worked very hard for it and eserve it.
We've proven our talent and penchant for exciting games. I 100% support this.
I believe it is time for the Cleveland Browns to have a primetime game. Not only am I a Browns fan, but I am a fan of football and it gets old seeing the same teams play primetime. The Browns are indeed an impressive team this year and it is sad that the rest of football fans can't witness it.
We more than earned it. Go Cleveland!!
Yeah, it's been a while since we have been embarassed on National TV, give 'em a chance!!
I think the browns should have a Sunday night game. And it should be at Home to show the rest of the NFl who has the best fans. They are the surprise team of the NFL this year and should be rewarded. And enough of the Patriots and Colts. There is not only two teams in the NFL the last time I checked.
YES! The Cleveland Browns have earned the right to be on "Sunday Night Football In America."
They are a definate playoff contender. They deserve the respect.
The Browns have become a Cinderella Story and are one most the most exciting teams to watch. With the playoff push in full swing, how could you not have them on Sunday Football and let the rest of the country see what we have been experiencing all season. Go Browns!
Am I the only one who feels that there is a lot riding on this week's game against the Cardinals. Put that on Sunday Night and you will have a good old fashioned offensive slugfest. Now it is probably too late, but judging earliers shootout against the Bengals, the next meeting should be interesting. Think about it NBC.
C'mon NBC, the Browns will give you better ratings than Collinsworth's smile!
YES! The Browns are a playoff contender and should be featured on National TV. The Bills v. Browns game seems like a perfect one to move to Sunday Night!!!!
I believe the Browns should be on Sunday Night, Monday Night, and Tuesday Night if thats the case. I think it's time, if you can have the best team and then the worst team on those nights, then put the Browns on too! We have the biggest backers club than any other team in league to date. (I'ts worldwide)I think it should be rotated with all the teams every year.
Mrs. Brown
the browns have one of the top scoring offences in the leauge, they definitely deserve a sunday night game.
C'mon, Miami with a 0-11 record on Monday Night Football and the Browns not appearing in one nationally televised game. I know the sports world hates Cleveland for some unknown reason but this, is about as low as the league can get. It would be truly awesome to see the Cleveland Browns in a Nationally televised game, Sunday Night football and a Monday Night Football. Lets go one step further when was the last time the Cleveland Browns played on Thanksgiving Day? Now that would be truly AWESOME !!!!!!!!!
The Brown's are much more exciting to watch than the Patriots. We fans have waited a long time for this and we deserve to see it in Primetime!!!!
The Cleveland Browns are one of the most exciting teams to watch. The Browns have large backer clubs all over the country & in other countries too. Why not share the excitment with everyone on Sunday Night Football ?
more browns fans across the country than any other team..period. probably will be the highest rated of the year.
YES!! I am so tired of seeing the Patriots and the Steelers!! I think Cleveland deserves that!!
They definitely deserve to be on primetime- browns fan
yeah but if we try to get a prime time game , we will get what we want sort of,,, I bet it will be a Thursday night game on the NFL network..ya know... one that can be seen evrywhere but the Clevelnad markets local Cable option...ô¿ô
Turner Browns
Yes the Browns should play on Sunday Night Football the deserves it!
Explosive team. Winning team. Great tradition. Feel good story in the NFL. The people of Cleveland have long deserved this. Don't let us down NBC. Donnie Flash. BFF 4 ever.
Dear NBC,
You cannot deny the fact that Cleveland has some of the most passionate fans in sports. Plus, the Browns are on fire right now!! We are the cinderella team this season. Put us on a nat'l televised game AT HOME...no more on the road only. We Deserve it, and you won't be disappointed.
I don't see any reason for NBC (or the NFL) to consider moving one of the Browns' home games to Sunday night.
My vote would be for the Browns vs. Bills, since it could be a matchup b/t 2 teams fighting to make the playoffs. And the media is starting to adopt the Browns as this year's Cinderella team -- plus DA, Winslow, Edwards & Cribbs deserve some national recognition.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
The Browns and every other team deserve the same recognitions on Thurs., Sun. or Monday night football. The true football fan will watch regardless of who is playing although I am sick of seeing the Patriots get all the glory. The other teams work just as hard - hey just don't steal signs to win. anonymous
We have proven to be exciting and fun to watch. But our luck you will go with a Miami vs Pittspuke mud bowl. Go Browns WOOF WOOF WOOF
The Browns have been a football mainstay since the 1950's and they will be champs again...They have given the NFL all the glory they ever needed and it is time to give the Browns the Monday Night Football game.
The Browns Vs the Bengals, the last time it was a shootout with a great browns win.
The Browns deserve a Sunday or Monday game more than any other team...just listen to the talk about how amazed everyone is with their record!
YES!! The Browns have the highest rated recievers,3rd highest passer, and by EVERY pundit on T.V., ARE THE SURPRISE STORY OF THE YEAR!!
not to mention we haven't even unleashed our 1st.round QB yet.
HOME GAME HOME GAME
Yes the Browns should have a prime time game. I am sick and tired of seeing the same three or four teams play every Sunday or Monday night. Lets see some new up and coming teams play, and when I say new up and coming teams I mean the Cleveland Browns.
Oh yea!! The Cleveland Browns and the city deserve a Sunday night game!!! A home game would be awesome!! Let's show America how awesome our Brownies really are!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Browns!!
As Browns fans we deserve a primetime home game. As much heartache and stomch ache due to inept play we have went through the years. Now we have come full circle and its OUR time to show the nation were sick of getting walked on! Plus The SWEATERVEST wants to be on PRIMETIME!
GO BROWNIES!!!
Without a doubt they should get a sunday night game. I meen you put Sh*tsburgh and The Miami trash on monday night and that game was a waste. But forget that GO BROWNS!....Sh*tsburgh sucks!
Browns on Sunday Night Football on NBC! Why not? Browns + Loyal Fan Base all around the World = Big Ratings for NBC and good publicity for Cleveland. About time the Browns and Cleveland get some good props on the national level. Brian Williams did NBC Nightly News here in town 2 1/2 weeks ago. Anything makes Cleveland and the Browns look good. DO IT!!!!
GO BROWNS!
YES they should, I see it as another win for the Terrible Towel. I love seeing all the white towels waving in surrender to the STEELERS!! Until you beat a real team you'll stay in the dark from HD and primetime. - Steeler Nation!
Cleveland needs a primetime game to show the nation they are for real.
Better announcers would help plus PRIMETIME SAY IT TOGETHER PRIMETIME A LITTLE SOFTER NOW PRIMETIME. little sad when teams get on 3 or 4 time in a season show a little variety
Yes they should, they should also play a Monday night game in Cleveland. GO Browns
Season ticket holder ! I think the browns should play the next home game Sunday night and give a donation to baby grace (Riley Ann Sawyers }It's would look good and the Sawyers could thank the nation again. It's the right thing to do .
browns rule. put them on, Steelers stink!!
I do not support moving any of the home games in 2007. I would not be able to attend the Bills or 49ers games if they were at night.
DO NOT move either of the home game starting times.
-Ticket holder in Solon
Yes!!!!! The Browns definitely deserve to play on Sunday night and on Monday night. Let the rest of the world see what we have to offer. GO BROWNS!!!!! (The Steelers are nothing but a bunch of biotches).
Put the Browns on primetime!!! They deserve it and some respect!
If Miami is entitled to a Monday night game then the Browns sure have earned the right. It is about time they received some position attention.
Absolutely the Browns should be entitled to a primetime game on national TV. They are the talk of the NFL, and they will continue to be as they mature and develop even more throughout the season. These players have done the impossible this year and deserve some recognition. NFL fans from all over will watch them just out of curiosity if for no other reason. GO BROWNS!
The Browns vs. the Steelers on Thanksgiving Day!!, alternating home fields every other year. Both teams deserve it and who the heck is Detroit anyway!!!!!!
The Browns have earned the opportunity for more TV exposure. We have been waiting for years for this level of excitement to return to the lakefront. The league reserves the right to make schedule changes after the 10th week of the season. Cleveland deserves a Sunday night game this year!
Loyal Browns Fan
Cleveland ... and the Browns ..., should focus on what the task at hand is; That is Winning ... ; Accomplish that, and the public will be at our door. We won't need to go whining to some pencil-necked network toady-executive.
The Browns have more dedicated and loyal fans than any other team in professional football. The team also has a fair share of critics that would love to see the Browns humiliated on national T.V. Any network would have to run by morons not to realize the potential for viewers by airing a national primetime game.
Absolutely the Browns deserve a primetime game this year. And I agree it should be a HOME GAME. Let's show our proud city off to the world.
GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!!
Duh. Give them the Night bid and get over the Pats. If miami got on monday and they suck, why can't the browns get even a sunday night? Whoever made the shcheduel for television these games, get over yourself.
Reading the comments is hysterical! You do NOT have the largest fan base - stop lying to yourselves. Your city sucks, it's always on the top of either the poorest, fattest, ugliest or most dangerous. Get your city together and maybe the networks would want to show it. No championships in what 40+ years - how pathetic!Browns suck - go Steelers!!
Sunday night game for the Browns, not a Monday or Thursday night game. The MNF crew is unwatchable & nobody has the NFL Network.
I don't care if it's a home game or not. Cleveland lost it's last 2primetime home games, and won a Sunday night game in Pittsburgh.
Just let Al Michaels & John Madden cover it!
Wow, people are amazing. There's people actually saying our city sucks on this page, yet they are on a Cleveland news page. I hate Pittsburg but you don't see me on their news page talkin trash. Ha, ha...funny. (Mistake by the lake, yeah right don't get drowned...says Chip)
Anyways, I feel as a die hard fan that the league and fans of the NFL will disregard the Browns until they do huge things. Unfairly so, we are doing big things but no one will get it until we blast Pittsburg or make a run in the playoffs. Alot of analysts are giving us the deserved credit, but it's still dim.
With that said, I do indeed feel they earned a spot. I mean the monday night games are somewhat based on last year's performances by teams and I don't 100% agree, but it's a good way to see better teams...until they flop and we still have to see it for the rest of the season. I say give it to em, when an unexpected team is on fire show the world, no matter who it is. GO BROWNS!!!
Yes, if a losing team like Miami has national games on Sunday or Monday, then a winning record, Browns should have one of these games.
much ado about NOTHING! Who cares... they will play the games either way, and will get a nationally televised games in the playoffs.
Everyone needs to quit whining so much.
Hell yes, the browns deserve to be on Sunday Night Football! They have shown a great improvement this year, the browns have the largest fan base in the NFL(Look it up, nay-sayers)! Derek Anderson and the rest of the team have earned the spot. I am sick of seeing the Colts and Pats in every primetime game, and even 0-10 MIAMI was in a primetime slot this year. The browns are NEVER in primetime games, and even when they are doing well, like this year, national sports announcers still say we suck and completely ignore us (as they do all Cleveland teams..like when we beat the YANKEES this year and all they talked about was freaking Joe Torre!)! GO BROWNS! YOU ROCK!
WE SHOULD DEFINITELY HAVE OUR GAME ON SUNDAY NITE FOOTBALL!! THE BROWNS CAME ALONG WAY THIS SEASON AND NOT JUST THAT EVEN THE GAMES THAT WE DID LOSE WE CAME REALLY CLOSE AND AT LEAST THEY WERE ENTERTAINING!!!!
What does NBC stand for,
No Browns Coverage? Northern Ohio IS the backbone and birthplace of football and deserves to be honored and be in the national spotlight. The Cleveland Browns are exciting and have Backers all over the country. If you won't broadcast the Browns, I say that we should take back Al Roker and all the Cleveland people that NBC employs!
Browns fans are the most dedicated and committed fans of all sports. We don't just want to have a televised Sunday night game, we need and deserve it! We've earned it! We are survivors through thick and thin. We love our team - GO BROWNS!!!!!!
The Cleveland Browns deserve a Sunday Night game!
The Browns deserve a Sunday night game. Based on reports nation wide and on the NFL network, the Browns are the most exciting team of the year. Also, the NFL network has picked the as 3-4 times as one of the top 5 games of the week, they show in shortened format. Also, many of the players are statistically in the top of the AFC and the NFL. Starting with Derrick Anderson-4th in AFC on TD, YRDS, YRDS/Gm, Top 10 in AFC in QB rating. Jamal Lewis-Top 5 in TD, YRDS, YRDS/gm. Braylon Edwards-Top 5 in TD, YRDS, YRDS/gm, Receptions. K2-#1 in YRDS, YRDS/gm, #2 in Receptions, Top 5 in TD. Josh Cribbs-#1 in Kickoff yards, #2 in TD and Avg/touch. Also, for the fact that the Browns were not even supposed win 6 games, let alone possibly go to the playoffs. So please NBC and the NFL, give the Browns and it Fans something else to be proud of and show them on national TV. I will guarantee it will be a great game. GO BROWNS!!
Absolutely the Cleveland Browns should be televised nationally - preferably at home! They definitely deserve it!
NO ONE outside Cleveland cares about The Browns! They've been the laughingstock of the NFL for decades running! And to those that claim 'The Browns Backers' are in 48 states or whatever... you're exaggerating. There may be 8 or 9 fans in some of those states. Big deal. Then there's the 'dawg pound'. A larger collection of motley, unrefined, coarse fools there is not, and we certainly don't need the rest of the country to see them on national TV!
If NBC drops the ball, I wouldn't be surprised. NY Giants and Washington has no significance except for the Taylor angle, but the game's in NY. The Browns have absolutely earned the chance to have Michaels and Madden come to town. I know the fans wouldn't mind, neither would the team. They need a national exposure game before the playoffs. Besides the Squeelers and Jags, this is the only playoff type game this weekend. Bring it to Cleveland.
Heck yeah. Give them a Sunday Night Game either home or away but then also give them a shot at a Monday Night game in Cleveland in December, real football weather. Show the NFL and the Nation why we have the best fans in the league, because no matter the conditions, we are supporting our team. If Pitt/Miami can put up 3 TOTAL points on a Monday Night game with horrible conditions, then the Browns definitely have deserved a spot on one night or both. Give the city of Cleveland and its' teams some cred where credit is due, the talent. Just do not let John Madden commentate, I can see the common sense John, no need to point out the obvious, turkey man.
absolutely! Especially agains the Steelers or Ravens!
