Holiday shopping: What's on your list?

Carole Sullivan and Chris Tye are working on a holiday gift giving story that will air Wednesday, November 28.

They want to know:

What are the top five gifts you want to give your significant other this year?

Where are you getting them?

Have you already purchased them? If you did buy them, did you get them in a store? Online?

Click on the word "comments" below to share your holiday gift giving plans.

I have already purchased for my wife a John Hardy Silver 18K braclet. I bought it from Saks. I finally got the bonus I deserved and will be spending it on my wife, my two kids, and maybe a Hi-Def TV for myself. Merry Christmas to me!!!

The past few years, my husband and I have come up with one gift that we could share and appreciate. Last year we purchased a pool table for our basement. This year, we plan on getting a new mattress for our bed - we both wake up sore every morning and it's time to replace ours with something that will do us some good.

Did not purchase any xmas gift as of yet, and won't.The best gift I could give my husband would be a new outlook on life.If he could share this with me,it would be the best gift I could receive.

That time again - time to find the perfect gift for my husband. It's always hard because I want to get something that will surprise and excite him. He has everything he needs. I will definitely get him a sweatshirt if I can find the perfect one - maybe Green Bay Packers. He just bought an Apple IPod Nano so I want to get him some songs to download. If I could get him a dog I would but that probably won't happen as it is more of a dream right now. The most important thing is to give him a relaxing, enjoyable day.

I wrote in yesterday about getting a new mattress - change that! I'm praying for my husband to find a job. He was just laid off today. Merry Christmas!

I wish I could afford to buy my wife an Xmas present, but alas, I cannot this year. I was laid off from my job in information systems after 8 years, and have no money for gifts. I had many medical bills to pay off (still have not- it's an ongoing process), because I could not afford insurance after meeting the rent, utilities, transporation, etc. Incidentally, my job was 'outsourced' or 'offshored' to India, where I found out they are paying my replacement 1/4 of what I was making! I played the game like I was supposed to (education, put in my years at work, etc.), and this is what I get...
