Late word Thursday is that the Cavaliers pulled off a last minute blockbuster trade.
The complex deal involves nearly a dozen players.
Will the move make the Cavaliers better and get them back to the NBA Finals to finish what was started last season?

GREAT DEAL! Ben Wallace & Lebron on the floor at the same time? Not too shabby, way to make a move and shut up the critics sayin danny ferry wouldn't do anything!
This trade was ridiculous....anyone who doesn't like larry hughes and the way he had played in the last 15 games must not watch basketball at all....we now have one player that can score on the cavs(obviously lebron james) and now they better hope he doesnt get hurt

This deal makes the Cavs slightly better than they were. Basically we traded a bunch of bench players, Hughes and Gooden for the players we received. Gooden lacked the consistent effort to succeed and was getting into foul trouble early in games due to his lack of hustle. Hughes was inconsistent at best (although he had been playing fairly well as of late). The best part of the deal is we are rid of Hughes bad contract one year earlier by taking the bad contract of Wallace. Smith and Wally will both be in the final year of their contracts next year which will allow the Cavs to possibly better the team next year before the trade deadline. Boston and Detroit are still the teams to beat in the East, but we've proven we can beat Boston with Lebron in the line-up. Their only win against us was when Lebron was out. Good luck the rest of the way. I look forward to an interesting playoff season.

Hughes and Gooden have been playing great. I don't know why they would trade them
I like the guy that said we won't win a national title. I didn't realize they had those in the NBA.
we definitely have a shot at returning to the finals this year. our defense is only going to be stronger, and once everyone is healthy, our offense can hang with any team. larry & shannon just didnt fit in this system. and w/ big ben grabbing boards and wallys outside shooting, i dont think we'll miss drew and donyell too long.
