Busy Day Today
10:30 a.m.
Thanks for joining us today! Shortly, we'll be posting a "web only" interview with Rob Parissi of Wild Cherry that Jeff shot after the interview they did on this morning's show.
10:24 a.m.
We're almost done with the show. I've added a story right after Del's Folks. I added it at the last minute. It was killed earlier in the show, when I was heavy but we picked up some time at the end. So we added it back in at the end! And Jeff loves the story too!
10:15 a.m.
As I predicted, I haven't had much blogging time today. I've been changing some information for live shots and bringing in guests. As for today's clock, we've been pretty heavy and pretty light. But the anchors are filling in quite nicely. We're done with guests and live shots now, so coming up next is Del!
9:49 a.m.
So our Cedar Point live shot is done. The live shot went down just a few minutes before we had took it live on air. Our photographer Imad was working hard to get it back up. With a live shot at Cedar Point, the photographer has to park the truck at a specific spot in the parking lot, so the signal can shoot across the lake to our station. So I'm not sure what caused it to go down, but Imad got the shot back up in time.
9:17 a.m.
We're off to a good start so far. The Cedar Point interview went well. Our second live shot is coming up and it is finally all set and ready to go. Also, our first studio interview is about to go on. Normally I have more time to blog, but with the amount of content we have today, I may not get to write quite as often. Commercial breaks are a great time to blog but today I will be running in and out to get guests. But as always, I will do my best!
8:58 a.m.
We're getting ready to go and we've got a packed show today! We've got two live shots and three in-studio guests! We're already had one last minute change, one of our live shots wasn't quite set for the opening of the show, so we had to switch to the other live shot for the tease ahead! It wasn't a big deal, but here's hoping the rest of the live shots go smoothly!
