10:20 a.m.
We're in Between the Lines now. I have been very busy today during the show. Since we are taking your emails, I've been busy creating graphics and re-writing scripts for the anchors for this segment. But the emails are great and Kim and Jeff love reading all of them.

10:15 a.m.
Well, that's the beauty of live TV! If you were watching for the second live hit at Progressive Field, just before 10:00, you probably heard Jeff toss out there, then Kim switch to a commercial break. Well, a little behind the scenes tidbit for you. Right as Jeff was tossing to the live shot, we lost our live signal. I had to tell the anchors in their ear, to go to the break. Luckily, Chris Kunz, our photographer in the mornings, was able to get the signal back during the break, and we were able to come back out to Progressive Field right at the top of the 10:00 show. With live TV you just have to adjust on the fly like that, and the anchors filled the mistake beautifully.

9:46 a.m.
As a producer, my job is to keep us on time for the show. But we've had a lot of chatting today which is making it hard to stay on time. Normally, I love the extra chat time, but today we've got a very full show, plus viewer emails, so there's not a lot of wiggle room. When we get heavy like this, I end up killing stories or cut a little time here there to get back on track. Sometimes Bruce will have to do weather in 2 minutes and 30 seconds rather than 3 minutes. Bruce is great, he can adjust to whatever my needs are for the show. So on other occasions if I need to fill time, I can always count on him, or the anchors will fill with more stories and chatting.

9:22 a.m.
We had a great story in our second block this morning. Its about a man in Denver who wants a city commission to handle any issues that come if aliens were to land on Earth. The story really made Jeff laugh. You can catch it again at noon and on our website.
