Bookworm Buzz: Saturday, Oct. 17th

Please send us your Bookworm Buzz suggestions at weekendmorningshow@wkyc.com and we'll feature them each Saturday morning.

Today's featured book is called "Zink the Zebra" written by a 12 year old girl named Kelly Weil who suffered from cancer. The story is about a zebra who was treated differently because of her stripes. The book is about respect, compassion and acceptance.

Today, the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio and the Cleveland Public Library are teaming up for "Girl Scout Zink Day". From 2-5pm today, you can hear the story about Zink and also learn about the Girl Scouts. Zink day is being held at the Memorial Nottingham Library, at both the Addison Branch and the Carnegie West Branch.
