Michael was in town for a book signing event Saturday at Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Legacy Village from 1-3 pm. The signing is free and open to the public. For more information on the event CLICK HERE

Our first book today was, "Where's My Mummy?" by Carolyn Crimi and John Manders. This is a favorite in the Kim Wheeler household. It's about a little mummy searching for his Mommy. During his search he meets dracula and a skeleton. It's so much fun and the illustrations are adorable.

Next up, in honor of the new hit movie, is the classic "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. It's also great for halloween.

From the book and movie "Marley and Me" comes a children's version called "Marley Goes To School" by John Grogan. It's the first day of school, and Marley gets in a lot of trouble. This book is the follow up to "Bad Dog, Marley".

The next book is "The Jungle Grapevine" by Alex Beard. It brings to life an African savanna filled with humor and misunderstanding, and provides a lesson in how gossip can stir up all kinds of problems.
