Missing Ashtabula County teen found safe in Mount Vernon, Ohio

Jazmine Kosik had been missing for two days.

The Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office has announced that a missing 16-year-old girl has been located safe by the Mount Vernon Police Department in Knox County.

She is being held until the arrival of her parents.

Officials say Jazmine Kosik, of Pierpont Township, did not return home from school two days ago. She is described as being around 5-foot-2 and weighing 135 pounds with blue dyed hair, blue eyes, and a bottom lip piercing.
