Hope Sloop, 3News Digital Producer

Hope Sloop is a Digital Producer for WKYC Studios in Cleveland, Ohio.

CLEVELAND — Hope Sloop joined the WKYC 3News family in November of 2019 as a News and Production Intern, specifically working on "What's New" with Jay Crawford and Betsy Kling.

Hope was born and raised on the east side of Cleveland along with her five sisters and graduated from Eastlake North High School in 2016. From there, Hope briefly moved out of state to attend Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before moving closer to home to study broadcasting and mass communications at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. 

While at Baldwin Wallace, Hope took part in the campus television program, BWTV, WBWC 88.3 and the school's newspaper, The Exponent. Hope was also an active member of the Alpha Phi sorority during her time at Baldwin Wallace University. 

Since joining WKYC, Hope has helped to cover major events such as the NFL Draft in Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction, and the visit from "TODAY" Anchor Al Roker. 

When she is not on the clock, you can find Hope binging television shows and movies, as well as reading any new book found on the New York Times Best Sellers list. 

Hope is a member of the Press Club of Cleveland and in 2021 was part of the WKYC.com team that took home Best Website in Ohio.
